“This store is great. They have tables, snacks, comfy hobby chairs, lots of space, bathrooms, etc. They're next to a Jamaican restaurant/bar and a barber. They're also open 6 days of the week and have late night Fridays. The employees are some solid dudes and the store atmosphere is terrific. I'd say the only hit I can give is that they sell some things for MSRP if you're looking to save a few bucks, but they help mitigate that through a rewards system. Solid store.”
“Great experience here. Just picked up a Kraton 6s from a buddy and they were really helpful in giving tips on setup and tricks. He looked it over and sold me the best battery and charger setup for my truck. I'll definitely be back for future mods I have planned. Pricing was on point with online prices. Much better going into a store and getting advice from someone with a ton of knowledge”

“Binding issue with my Arrma Futy after a replacement esc/receiver was provided under warranty. Joe and team took me in and helped me out right away. This was our first time at Build A Bear and as soon as we walked in we were greeted with a warm welcome asking if we were celebrating a special occasion and we sure were! We have a kindergarten graduate and his little brother we couldn’t leave out. The staff answered all our questions and help guide us seamlessly through the entire process. We left with smiles and tangible memories to last a lifetime. We appreciate the extra attention to detail from the ladies working here. “I usually have a problem leaving my bag up front in places. For some reason, I don't have a problem with it at five below. I think it's because the play seems to be tailored to children. As such , I can see why they would be concerned about shoplifting. Whatever the case , I usually just go in there for peanut chews and sour airheads. They are the only place that I know that carries the varieties of candy that I look for. I get in and I get out, no drama.”
“Retro Exchange has easily become one of my favorite stores, especially when it comes to vintage items. They have a smaller section near the registers dedicated to vintage collectibles, but I’ve been in four times now and it’s always changing. There’s almost always something new that catches my eye.
The same employee has helped me each visit — not sure of his name, but he’s a younger guy with longer hair. What really stands out is how knowledgeable he is. I’m probably twice his age, yet he clearly knows his stuff when it comes to toys from my childhood that I’m actively collecting. He’s great to talk to and genuinely helpful without being pushy.
This place is easily one of the best collectible stores in the west valley of Phoenix, and definitely in my top two. My wife and I have a massive vintage collection that takes up about 500 square feet of our house, so we’re always checking out shops like this. Retro Exchange is absolutely worth a visit for anyone into collecting. While most of the store leans modern, the vintage section is always worth digging through.
Highly recommended for both vintage and modern collectors.”

“I've been to this store a couple of times and it was pretty good. Everything was pretty affordable and there was actually a decent selection of items there. The store is relatively clean and isn't too crowded most of the time. I think this store is pretty decent and I would definitely come here again.”
