Aloft Tucson University is a great choice for visitors, especially due to its location across the street from the U of A campus. The hotel is very clean and welcoming, with a great lobby. Staff members are friendly, accommodating, nice, and very helpful, with fast check-in. The pool and well-maintained fitness center exceed expectations, offering supplies like wipes, towels, water, and adaptable ear phones. There is a large sitting area and parking is plenty. Rooms are standard and simple, with clean and comfortable beds. Some rooms offer pretty views. However, the rooms need some major TLC, with noted issues like ceiling moisture stains, wallpaper splitting, scratches on headboards, and stains in the toilet area. The hotel does not offer free breakfast, but it is available for purchase, and there is a bagel store just down the street. A significant complaint is insane motorcycle noise from the Speedway Street side, which can severely impact the stay. The hotel bar service is described as basic. Overall, it is a very well-kept property with excellent service.
Great location for UofA events, just a short walk to campus, bars and restaurants. Nice gym and pool too and friendly staff.

Good location and the staff was friendly. Room was clean. Only downside was the hallways had some Cheez-It crumbs on the floor at one point, probably just a kid, no big deal. Pay for parking which really sucked at $18/24 hours. Everything else was wonderful and would definitely stay again if I'm in Tucson again. The biggest complaint was someone let their child walk up and down the corridor knocking on the walls and doors at 11pm for about 2 hours.
