“The heart of downtown Tucson. Right in the middle of everything happening downtown, lots of different environments (hotel, music venue, lounge, restaurant, jazz club, dive bar).”

“The Graduate Tucson is one of my most favorite places to stay. The front desk, especially James and Mike, go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Taylor at Moonstone makes an incredible cocktail while you take in a stunning view. Diego, José, Ciro and Preston make the valet experience smooth and friendly. I can’t recommend the Graduate enough.”

“Convenient location and all the comforts of home. Cook yourself a meal in the cozy kitchen or enjoy a flick by firelight. Campy decor is spot on for the full retro vibe. We enjoyed the full hook up in our small RV but the full-sized bathrooms with hot showers were divine after more than a week dry camping in the wilds.Toni was super friendly and helpful. Even gave hubby help backing in and setting us up so I could give our pups a good walk after being cooped up for several hours.Highly recommend. 6 stars! ?”

“Did not stay but did eat the amazing brunch. Can’t wait to actually stay here. Relaxing. Peaceful. Calming. The brunch was delicious. Service was amazing. The salmon is yum! This is what Tucson and the west is about. Plus, the horses are so beautiful.”

“The good: Unlike other places, you actually get something for the resort fee: 1 hour e-bike rental, tequila toasting at 530p, and the 45-min morning hike was my favorite. Service is great. Property is a slightly above average for the price point. The bad: For the price, the rooms and pools were average. Nothing special. Over priced food and drinks.”

“Such a charming Inn. The seamless blend of old-world charm and modern comfort creates a unique and cozy atmosphere. Amy and Dora were incredibly welcoming, providing exceptional service with a personal touch. From the delicious breakfast to the well-preserved historical details, every aspect of our stay was delightful. We look forward to staying there again.”

“Location on Google maps was a lil off, took me to the opposite side of highway. Not bad for just passing thru. Didn’t stay for breakfast. Maybe next time. Rooms were a lil different setup than what I’m used to but very nice.”

“The friendliest, and very competent staff. Wonderful grounds, beautiful rooms, centrally located with the superb restaurant Cielos on the grounds. One year later I am changing my 5 star review. The rooms are very clean except the last 3 times that I have stayed there are a disturbing amount of cobwebs all over the ceilings. Also, corporate GREED? The FREE breakfast is now $16.99 plus tax then add tip! If they had to start charging should not have been more than $11.00 or $12.00 for Hotel Guests. The Blue Willow, Locale. Panera ,Ghinis Cafe and numerous other breakfast options all over. And less expensive. The delicious potatoes on the buffet have been replaced with fried cubed potatoes that are generic everywhere. The morning waitstaff now have half the customers because people are going elsewhere for breakfast, so they don't earn the tips that they are used to from what I could observe. I bet anything that they did not get a decent raise. Very disapointed that the corporate takeover eliminated the HUGE perk of a free breakfast. Other HOTELS have not chosen to disappoint their guests!”

“Stayed here alone (single female) for 3 nights. My primary comment will be: applause - applause - applause !!The front desk staff was courteous, helpful and professional. The price was reasonable when you consider near perfect February weather, the location to the Catalina State Park, many great restaurants, and the proximity to U of A campus! My room was as described with 1 King with view of mountains. The cleaning woman was bi-lingual, friendly, and respectful when I hung my "do not disturb" door tag.The pool was good, the lounge chairs were comfortable ... but the hot tub WINS my vote ... so great after hiking :)The breakfast exceeded my expectations. Yes, there was the typical waffle maker for the kiddos, but I really appreciated the variety of eggs and fresh fruit!!Rooms: comfortable and cleanNearby activities: I appreciated the location to the Catalina State Park, restaurants within walking distance, and the proximity to U of A campus (only @ 15 minutes)!Safety: VERY !!!Food & drinks: The mini store near check-in desk was stocked with sweet, savory, and variety of drinks.Noteworthy details: Lobby has local decor:)”

“I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Friendly staff, extremely clean common areas/rooms, spacious rooms, Good breakfast, very updated. We had a few mishaps with our reservation during our stay, but the customer service was absolutely unmatched. We will definitely be staying here when we visit again.”

“First time I stayed on first floor, second time the third floor and had a great view of the Catalina mountains. Both stays staff very friendly, rooms very clean, the white linens and spread make everything look cleaner. Bed extremely comfortable although a little too high for us short people. Kids from a soccer game cleaned out the bacon and eggs, but staff refilled it in a timely manner. Rooms are very quiet.Nearby activities: Close to Park Mall for shopping, Movies and dining.Food & drinks: No restaurant at hotel, although they have a free breakfast. Which also makes no sense why there wouldn't be a microwave in the room. Across the street from Texas Roadhouse. Mall has Yard House, Applebee's, Red lobster, Chipotle. Across the street Black Bear diner, Jason's Deli. The Next light you have BJ'S rest., Olive Garden, Five Guys, Monkey Burger and First Watch. So quite a few choices within walking distance or I'm sure hotel Van would take you.”

“The rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable. I usually choose a shower over a bath, but the tub in our suite was so inviting that I enjoyed a long soak after our day's hike. Our room backed onto the road, and we heard vehicle noise and the A/C throughout the night. It didn't bother me as much as it did my partner. If I were to stay again, I'd request a room on the interior (looking out on the pool). Our door keys gave us access from the street to the lobby, and the front desk was staffed as well. We did see several people walking through the hotel parking lot who did not appear to be guests, but we didn't have any issues parking our car there.”

“Very large rooms and pretty good breakfast. Breakfast at 6:30 a.m. is busy busy busy! Waiting a half hour makes for a more joyful, less crowded breakfast experience.”

“Nice, updated room- great shower. No comfy chair in our room as the pictures showed. Used the desk chair, but needed two sitting areas for reading for the two if us, etcThe pool pictures are misleading. Smallest pool I have ever seen. But to sit out there…every umbrella was broken. Not that pleasant.Staff was great.”

“The hotel was packed for our Saturday night stay. A great place for families and there is plenty of room for sleeping and good breakfast selections. The rooms were updated since my last stay 9 years ago. The wood furniture is the same but the carpet, paint, shower, and soft goods are relatively new. In my opinion, the social hour can be skipped. I would rather pay for decent beer or wine versus Bud and Sutter's. The salty snacks are a poor dinner replacement. The views of the foothills from some rooms and the lounge are extremely beautiful. This is my favorite Tucson neighborhood.”

“Overall pleasant stay. I normally don’t stay at motels because of bad experiences but this one exceeded my expectations. Staff was friendly, parking lot was clean and safe. They have a couple electric vehicle charging stations. The room was modern and clean. Would stay here again.”

“Post COVID, there are less benefits for veterans. Been a couple years since I've stayed. The rooms are nice, the staff has been friendly, including the gift shop. If it's summer, the pool will close if lightning in the local area.My visit in February 2024, was the casino. There seems to be fewer staff bringing water/sodas. It's clean, the staff is friendly, just less of them.”

“My recent stay at the Hilton Hotel East was nothing short of exceptional. I needed to stay for business and tuck in a little leisure at the end, by picking up a kayak before heading back to San Diego. The hotel was perfectly situated for both both my business needs, and leisure needs. From the moment I arrived, Andy, the courteous clerk who checked me in, set the tone with his friendly demeanor and ability to accommodate special room requests. His professionalism and warmth made me feel instantly welcomed.Nestled amidst the arid desert landscape, the Hilton Hotel East goes above and beyond to ensure guest comfort. HH Members: Complimentary waters were a welcome touch, particularly in combating the dry climate. Additionally, the hotel offers parking for a nominal fee of $10, providing peace of mind knowing that my belongings, including my kayak, were secure overnight in the well-lit parking lot. The quiet and secure neighborhood surrounding the hotel further enhanced my sense of safety, making it an ideal choice for travelers with valuable or recreational equipment. The heated pool wasn't quite heated when we arrived, and our top sheet on one of the beds was stained or dirty, and that was a little disappointing. However, when we alerted the front desk, engineers and housekeepers promptly addressed these issues with care and concern. From fixing the pool heater to replacing a spotted top sheet their quick response was commendable and contributed to a hassle-free experience. The hotel's location offers stunning views of the Catalina mountains, providing a picturesque backdrop for relaxation. Whether lounging by the pool or enjoying breakfast overlooking the sunrise, the serene desert surroundings added an extra layer of tranquility to my stay.In addition to its comfortable accommodations and scenic surroundings, the Hilton Hotel East offers convenient amenities such as complementary shuttle service to various locations within 5 miles. This service made exploring nearby attractions a breeze - without having to drive our car around with kayaks attached – and further elevated the guest experience.Overall, my stay at the Hilton Hotel East surpassed my expectations. It is top value for its price class. From the attentive staff to the thoughtful amenities and tranquil surroundings, it truly allowed us to get some much-needed rest and relax before making the 6 Hour drive home to San Diego.I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tucson, whether for business or leisure”
