“I fell in love with this bookshop the moment I walked through the door. The atmosphere hugged me!. So much to peruse. Delightful choices of unique children's books. Educational books that will certainly grab your child's attention. Children need to hold the book, touch the pictures, see the words wrapped in different waves. It is a kinesthetic experience that is very good for childhood brain development. Something that CANNOT be experienced on and techy device. Give your children and grandchildren the reading experience you had.”

“If there's a better Books and Coffee establishment in Tucson I've found none exist! Not only the refreshingly comfortable environment which includes the exceptional baristas but also a multitude of used & new book choices. Plus locally roasted fair trade organic coffee. If you are so inclined please go partake in the vegan gluten-free homemade pastries and support living wages with no environmental devastation.”

“My sister and I both attend Pima, and have had great experiences with them; small class sizes and mostly good professors, some excellent! Many more support systems for students than most colleges!”

“I LOVE LOVE LOVE this church / spiritual center!! Spirituality is such an individual essence that it's not always transferable. With that said, anyone can find a home here, especially if you want to throw hell and damnation to the side and focus on love, and self-growth, and a general aspiration for feeling good about life. This place naturally, without effort, for the first time in my life, makes me prioritize my Sundays around service and makes me excited to be involved in mid-week activities. It's genuinely changed my life. The minister makes this place the wonderful sanctuary that it is, and I hope he sticks around for a very long time. It is definitely not the "stand behind the pulpit, monotone voice" kind of place. Man, it just makes my heart sing. You'll be heard, you'll be valued, you'll be loved, you'll be welcomed. I hope you check it out. They have classes, gatherings, fellowships, service, a bookstore, and a loaner library, plus more, all rolled into one.”

“Even though I was completely embarrassed to enter this store, I felt invited by the female cashier. She knew exactly where what I wanted was at…. Kinda because the store is very small. But the effort was worth the price 10/10 I’d never go anywhere else”

“Love the place when I need to get something for classes or just get some U of A gear. Their Starbucks is pretty good too. Initially they messed up my order but a chill worker named Dylan offered to give me the right order and even let me keep the wrong one. Amazing customer service, shoutout to that guy.”

“The staff here are very nice and helpful. Seems like they are the only ones knowledgeable of things vs the other bookstore locations where they would contradict what they say over the phone vs in person. I always go to this campus for my books now because I dont trust the other places. I had to call the manager here to see if he could sort out the mess that the other campus bookstore did, which he was able to. Thank you.”

“First of all, how many check ins do I need to get the crown here?!? Geez! Lol This is a decent sized community college. It doesn't have the greatest landscaping compared to Pima's other campuses, for instance Northwest... Now THAT is a nice campus! But the East campus is not the worse either. It's straight forward, everything is simple and easy to find. Education... It's hit and miss. Since I've taken more science based classes here than other classes, I can only really write on the science teachers. Chemistry department... GREAT. Do your homework on the teachers to see which one would be best for you. For the most part, the teachers will make the most of your money. Ive taken organic chemistry, microbiology, and psychology here and three teachers definitely made me work. In my opinion, Doctor Burke, one of the best science teachers I've had yet. I've Graduated from the U of A, so I've had my share with good, decent, and horrible professors. He's anything but easy, if you want a challenge and to get an education worthwhile, he's the one to go to!”

“As a veteran library-lover and used book hound, finding this was an absolute joy. The selection here rivals some for-profit book stores, and the prices cannot be beat! The books are categorized for ease of browsing, and the shelves are as tidy as any B&N store. Some volunteers were very helpful. Plan to spend at least an hour browsing.”

“To hear a healing message, call our Bible Lesson phone line: 520-495-2013 (tel:5204952013). No Christian Science church is affiliated with Scientology in any way, nor is Christian Science a cult. We are a thoroughly Christian, Bible-based church blessing our community. The dual pastor of the Christian Science church consists of two books: the Holy Bible, and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy. This pastor is always available, everywhere, to everyone with these books. The Bible is the Word of God, the voice of Truth. Simply open the books and read them to hear His voice and find guidance and inspiration. In establishing these books as our pastor, Mrs. Eddy wrote this: "Your dual and impersonal pastor, the Bible, and 'Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures,' is with you; and the Life these give, the Truth they illustrate, the Love they demonstrate, is the great Shepherd that feedeth my flock, and leadeth them 'beside the still waters'" (Miscellaneous Writings 1883-1896). You will hear the same inspiring and healing weekly sermon read at every Christian Science Sunday church service globally, from Delaware to New Delhi, from Tucson to the lively society in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. This unifying message of divine Truth, God, is published as a weekly Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly. Church members around the world unite in studying it daily. The Lesson-Sermon consists of citations from the Bible and Science and Health. The 26 topics include God the Only Cause and Creator, Christ Jesus, God the Preserver of Man, Doctrine of Atonement. The services are conducted by church members: a First Reader and Second Reader read from the Bible and Science and Health. Music is provided by an organist and soloist. Members serve as ushers to greet people and answer questions. Naturally since there are no ordained clergy in the Christian Science church, the buildings are primarily open for services only. One-hour Sunday services and Sunday School are held at 9:30 am. The one-hour Wednesday evening testimony meeting begins at 7:30 pm. Following hymns and a brief inspirational reading from the Pastor, congregants relate healings they have experienced through Christian Science, through a scientific and spiritual understanding of God and His divine law of harmony and health, as taught in the Bible, demonstrated by Christ Jesus and his followers, and explained in Science and Health. Church members believe that Christian Science is the promised Comforter, bringing "all things to [our] remembrance" (see John 14:26) by restoring primitive Christian healing to Christianity. Would you like to buy a Bible or Science and Health in Spanish or English, or other Bible reference books and magazines, including The Christian Science Monitor Weekly? Read or listen to testimonies of present-day spiritual healing? Study helpful articles on how to heal and be healed today? Or pray and meditate on God's goodness, allness, and love for you and all mankind? There is a peaceful place to do so! The Christian Science Reading Room, located in Plaza del Oro at 6470 N Oracle Road (cross street Orange Grove, near Hobby Lobby) is open to everyone. Business hours are Tuesday-Friday 10 am - 4 pm, Saturday 10 am - noon. Closed Sunday and Monday. We look forward to welcoming you at our Sunday morning church services, Sunday School (up to age 20), Wednesday evening testimony meetings, and our Reading Room!”
