When i called they said that they take anything clothing wise. I brought sweat jackets, two pairs of sweatpants, two unworn sport bras, and four pair of shoes (one unworn). They didn't take it but they said they take anything one of the workers said the shoes aren't there where are they then? So it wasn't a good experience for me.

Carlos the mgr is great but I find the young employees to be ignorant to fashion and vintage. Jeans they sold for $30 two months ago are at $50 now, and I got 10$ when they purchased a $500 cashmere. Never saw it on the racks

What can I say...this place has been ruined. I kinda grew up in this place but I moved away for 15 years and just visited recently to browse and to try to sell some clothes. It used to be so vibrant and the employees used to be so awesome. Now? They were so rude. Not just to me but other sellers/shoppers as well. I noticed while waiting, the buyers would buy 80% of someone's items if they were cool/friends. It was so obvious. Before it was even my turn, I could tell my items were too nice for this place. Whoever is in charge of the vibe in there, should be fired immediately. I will never, ever return. I lived in Phx for 15 years and was a regular shopper at the ASU Buffalo Exchange, and THAT location is AMAZING!!! Vibrant, stylish, variety, cool and NICE employees. While at this Tucson location, I was given dirty looks like "why are you even here". Whole time, I'm wondering the same about them. Thrift stores are a reflection of their employees and what can I say, this place SUCKS. Shoutout to the male buyer who bought most of his friend's stuff (this was around noon on 11/28/23 in case the owner wants to hold its employees accountable-im sure there's cameras in there), had a 30 minute conversation while the other buyer attended to 6 other sellers in the same time frame. And to the sour face manager (I'm assuming, she's the one who vetoed every item the buyer considered buying), you should maybe get a phone job where you're not face to face with customers. I browsed around while waiting and was unpleasantly surprised by how awful the selections were and the high prices of some items, like the corduroy sweat pants for $31? What a sh*thole, honestly. There are other thrift stores that have nicer employees and better business (ethics). Again, I will NEVER return to this location. Also, some of my items that they "rejected" were missing from my bag when I left. They steal here!!!

They used to have really cool stuff for cheap. Now every time I go in everything is insanely priced & completely unacceptable considering the condition of the item/type of item. The staff used to be great but now they definitely judge you. I remember one visit I was walking around, browsing, and the cashier was watching me very closely, obviously judging me hard. I have no idea why & it made me really uncomfortable. There was also no one else in the store. Just me. Wouldn't speak to me at checkout either. I'll give Buffalo another shot but to call it a "thrift" store with these prices is laughable.

It's a crap shoot when you're selling. If you get a clueless buyer you have to come back again with the same stuff hoping to get someone who knows the business. I would never buy anything here-totally overpriced. There's a lot of stuff and variety but there is also a lot of stuff and variety in a thrift store.

Came in today looking for anything that wasn't what you'd find in " vanilla" brick & motor store. Maybe a little punk, vintage, alternative, metal. Something!!! Anything!!I've been to the buffalo store in the height. Way different!! They are eclectic , way cool! Arizona has zero style unless your looking for tee shirts & cowboy boots. I didn't see anything that was edgy or cool. This place is just like most of AZ, beige, boring & dry.

If you want to sell/trade at Buffalo you have to be a FREIND to the buyers. I've been shopping/trading at Tucson and Portland Buffalo for years. I came in with two bags of things. They passed on $300 shoes and a $1,000 Versace sports coat (great condition). The girl didn't even know what frye boots were. DOH! They bought one halloween outfit and nothing more. But then one of their friends came in and she bought her ENTIRE BAG full of clothes!!!!! I kid you not! I took the $5 for gas money it took to drive there and I won't be back.

Idk why the negitive reviews complain about only taking the good and trendy stuff. That's the whole point. Cheaper clothes that are looking good and in amazing condition, no they don't take everything like other stores, but in return you can buy some really great stuff at a fraction of the price you usually would have to pay. No bull kinda place and I love it.

Over priced and under offered. They passed on a pair of platforms that are pretty much a dupe of all the Valentino pumps all the celebs are wearing and a brand new, never worn pair of nude pumps. D**** Also, the staff could use some customer service training. I’ve had multiple interactions with the staff at this place and generally I find them to be over defensive bullies who look down their noses at you. The plus size selection sucks, and they barely have shoes for ladies with larger feet, so maybe we can add fat phobic to the list of reasons why you shouldn’t shop at buffalo exchange.

Hit or miss, I like it when they complement your jewelry or clothing but. if you bring it in to sell they will say it's not what they're looking for. Also, they will turn down high end clothing for Old Navy, jus saying.

I've been selling and buying at Buffalo Exchange for well over a decade, and it's really a bummer to see what's happened with this store. It used to be a great place to buy second hand and vintage, but it's almost entirely fast fashion now. Going through the racks you'll mostly see Target and Forever 21 clothes but used and double the price (which we all know, those types of brands don't appreciate in value - why would anyone buy a used Wild Fable shirt for $18?!). The only vintage section is a tiny rack hidden in the back. Not to mention they now carry a lot of new clothes and accessories that are mass produced, which takes away the whole point of this being a thrifty and eco-friendly shopping experience. They also now make you stand there as they go through your trade and you can tell they tell their employees make small talk, and I get that they're trying to be friendly, but it feels like they're going through prompts and it is sooooo cringey. Like unbelievably bad - going through "ice breaker" questions lol. I also think the buying process in general is much to be desired. They want what's "in style" but no one shops at a thrift store because they're following mainstream fashion trends. Either way, you can just tell there's not a lot of knowledge about brands, fashion, and value in general. I get it's all subjective but really it mostly comes down to the fact that it's all overpriced fast fashion in there now.

The manager clarissa is terribly rude and it seems as though she has little to no knowledge about fashion. Come to this store if you want to speak with rude people and search through racks of fast fashion.
