“My daughters gifted me a surprise visit for my birthday yesterday, together with my husband - to each create a glass bowl. We both loved it! Jason was great at guiding each of us separately, explaining the different steps, and accommodating my design ideas!
Don't expect to do everything yourself when coming for a 1-time experience. Each bowl/vase took roughly 20 minutes to create. After that, the pieces go through a controlled cooling process and can be picked up after 1 week.”
“They have been a tremendous help to our family. Please donate when you can! They offer customized boxes so the line is longer than other places that just grab and go. So elderly and kids bring something to rest on. They also have clothing and pet food and toiletries. The kind volunteers are really wonderful people.”
“This establishment is a true God send. They went above and beyond to help me not only get work clothes, but to also feel special as well. They not only helped with dress clothes, they allowed a few dresses, jeans and two pairs of shoes. I would recommend this place to any women or yound lady in need of clothes for work. They are a true blessing and I am extremely grateful.”
“Taco Tuesday was lovely. We picked them up and ate elsewhere because of Covid, but it looked to be a fun crowd and great place to socialized under other circumstances. Tacos were great!”

“This place was absolutely amazing! Where do I start? It was such a wholesome, loving and nurturing environment for the animals and all the kiddos and people that come here! My family loved it. Our tour guide, Cowboy Gil was phenomenal and made the experience so much fun! Just a great place with wonderful staff who have the kindest hearts ?”
“Tons of Sober Fun! This is a fantastic place for people in recovery who still want to have a good time. Barbecues every Friday night, karoke, bingo, TV room, snack bar and more! A great community with lots of support and open meetings every day. Absolutely worth the visit ?”
“The big picture is putting arid adapted, ancient and landrace seeds back into the hands of people to be able to grow their own food.
The smaller picture is a state of the art seed storage repository that has a outreach program run by dedicated, caring and knowledgeable people”
“An amazing place if you’re into arts and tinkering! Xenocraft Makerspace is a non-profit and volunteer run community tool shop or tool library. On the second level, are the radio station KMKR 99.9 and CAD (computer aided design) stations. On the main level are: the reception area, laser cutters, vinyl cutter, 3D printing with four PLA printers, Art classroom/sewing room, wood shop (lathe, table saws, shaver, drill press and more) and machine shop. Outside behind the building are welding and blacksmith stations. On the basement level are classroom, jewelry station, electronics (repair), and CNC (computerized numerical control). “Had a veteran placed here in my apartment complex and one of the Salvation Army agents asked me if I would be his Advocate while he was here. I tried to help him but he had extreme alcohol problems and PTSD he died this week. The Salvation Army did all they could to give him a home. But they also have to realize the veteran needs to have to try to want to help himself. This man was going blind and needed surgery that due to the VA cuts in many ways and due to his stress here at the apartments he did not want to live. I'm asking the Salvation Army chaplain to please do a unity prayer this week for all the homeless and veterans that are suffering with alcohol or depression or PTSD. And be United in prayer this Friday in the darkness that we have with the politics that we bring in the light and bring it in prayer for all the homeless people and our veterans and the VA. You tried to do your best and I appreciate it. Keep bringing in the light for our homeless and for our veterans. And thank you for your service”
“We had accumulated many books over the years, some of them expensive technical manuals. It seemed a shame to throw them in the trash, so we were grateful to find the friends of the Pima county library.”

“Stopped by to drop off can tabs. I was promptly met by the most friendly person who was very grateful for the donation. While I've never had to use the services of the Ronald McDonald Charities, I appreciate the good work they do & will continue to support them!”
“My grandfather, Lou Romanos, was a handball player/captain way back in the day, and we recently visited the hall of fame. Matt toured us around and treated us so well. He definitely gave us an amazing experience. Thank you Matt and thank you USHA!”

“I have been shopping at this unique gift shop since the eighties while I attended UofA , until I moved to Tucson. Unknown to many in Tucson, the store has all new merchandise from around the world and is a wonderful source of unique gifts, greeting cards, jewelry, clothing, household decor, ethnic collectibles and so much more. Operated by a small paid staff and many dedicated volunteers, this store is an experience to wander through. Plan to spend some time here.”
“What an amazing and cute place. I came to buy kindness coins, and we found out that you can volunteer to paint everything they sell. The staff was above and beyond helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. We will definitely be looking into volunteer opportunities and having my 4 year old son learn how to help and be part of something special.”
“Yoto is a great organization that came to our school and talked to our students about homeless teenagers. Please donate to this great organization. 5 star nonprofit organization.”
“Met some friends here to play tennis and it was awesome! They let the kids borrow racquets, it was clean and quiet and the snack bar was insanely affordable. I only wish we were a part of the neighborhood so we could go whenever we wanted.”

“I just wanna give 5 stars to the forklift guy, I think his name is Chris. He always has a positive vibe and good work demeanor when I drop stuff off in the box truck. He's quick, safe and very efficient in his skills. A total asset for you guys to have as a worker.”
“We adopted our amazing cat from here and had an amazing experience!
I am wary of shelters that don't ask questions of potential owners, or who are not thorough in the application process. I have unfortunately seen shelters send animals to homes where it was not a good fit.
However, I felt that the staff at Rescue Me Tucson care a lot about their animals' well-being. They asked me questions and were able to answer all of mine. As a result, eclipse is very happy in her new home!”
“It is the best cat shelter, the people who work there really take good care of all the cats. The Hermitage is the best spot to get a cat. 10 out of 10 would always recommend.”

“I won't go into too many personal details. But I will say that this has been a pleasant, warm, inviting & therapeutic place. My family & I are very grateful for the staff there & all the volunteers. The families we have met & share with are amazing & I'm so glad we have gotten the chance to be a part of something so wonderful. I thank them & wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone dealing with the loss of loved ones. Know you are not alone out there.”
“Oh my gosh! This is such an awesome find in Barrio Viejo of Tucson. Truly one of a kind! I went to the art opening on Sept 2, it was so cool to meet so many local artists and see the many ways humans express themselves. They have a cool little gift shop of art books for adults and children, donated artwork and cool vintage jewelry too. Love this place!”
“Denise and Joseph Gerace are excellent teachers. I first learned TM over 40 years ago and they helped me get back into the practice. I can't emphasize enough how much TM helps with everything, from anxiety reduction to sleep to many other. Try it.”
