The Yoga Connection is a chill, calm place full of serenity and peace, offering a simple yet elegant studio with great classes and instructors. It is a non-profit yoga association for Southern Arizona, founded by a teacher initiated from a fine lineage of Kriya Yoga Masters with fifty years of experience. This teacher is a no-nonsense kind of guru who radiates loving energy and provides constructive criticism necessary for growth. The studio fosters an amazing small community of yogis and is considered a gift for the Tucson community. It is inclusive on every level, with teachers who are really knowledgeable and kind, thoughtfully making classes accessible for all. The Yoga Connection offers scholarships, work study, free classes, and help for veterans. Special offerings include treats like a gong bath and other special courses. Its 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program is expansive and well-regarded. The training covers a wide array of topics including anatomy, alignment, subtle anatomy, pranayama, meditation, and in-depth pose study with variations. It includes access to studio classes and teacher shadowing. Participants feel well-prepared to teach and find it tremendously deepens their personal practice, helping prevent injury and improve body awareness. The program features multiple experienced teachers and is developed with great consideration, effort, and dedication.
Great place, so glad I’ve found them (thanks to Tucson Touch Therapy) mature, experience, and kind. Ego’s seem to be left at the door, nice change.

Yoga Connection is a safe place to explore your body consciousness. It’s the real deal and Hatha Yoga at its best no matter what level you are with your practice. I never feel out of place or inadequate no matter what my day has been like when I walk into the class.

I fell in love with the Yoga Connection! I started with wanting to get into better shape. I stayed by becoming a better version of myself. The Yoga Connection offers Yoga classes, special events, retreats, with a welcoming sense of community. I hope you come and try and end up staying! Namaste
