“I absolutely adore Forbes! Everything us always fresh, the staff is friendly, polite and helpful. I can 100% taste the difference between Forbes meats, and store bought. If you are looking to get away from big box grocery stores and get better, healthier, high quality protein for your families, this is the place to go. Prices are super reasonable as well. Today I bought 4lbs hamburger meat, 2lbs sausage, 1lb steak, 2lbs chicken breast, and 1 1/2lbs salmon for $145. Thats a crazy good price.”

“This is one of the few stores I can find the ingredients I need to make traditional Puerto Rican dishes. I no longer use Goya products but if anyone’s looking for them, they have them here. I struggled to find them when I first moved to Arizona, till I found this store. I love that they have a little bit of everything. I’m all for exploring other cultures and trying to replicate their dishes. The fresh produce area is packed with goodness and VERY fresh. The smell that lingers around reminds me of groceries stores from back home. That’s how I know it’s good ?”
“Decent butcher shop. I went here because it has higher ratings than many of the other butcher shops in the area. Got some meat as an initial test for less than $20. That was good so I came back w few days later and bought $200 worth of meat. Ribeye was great!”
“My favorite Tamales in town. Usually sold fresh on Tuesdays. Nice staff and lots of delicious fresh meats and vegetables to choose from. And on weekends I usually see a grill man grilling various meats purchased by customers moments prior.”

“Yesterday would have been my mom and dad's 55th anniversary. After visiting my dad's grave I brought my mom here because she loves lamb. We got a lamb shank, some hummus and a order of french fries for my youngest. Everything was delicious ?. The restaurant is around back. We did pick up some lamb from the butcher inside the grocery store and a few sodas.”

“Great little market, with excellent quality meats, produce, and Mexican pastries. Being small, their selection is limited, but what they have is great. Employees are pleasant and helpful.”
“Very nice atmosphere and organized little market. They have a variety of selection on meat, our favorite was the arrachera (skirt steak), we also grabbed a selection of meat to grill and chicken for the weekend. The bread was on the hard side, and the tres leches cake was good. We will be back to try their menu.”

Variety of very delicious cheeses are only found here because they are from the Latin tradition. After entering the restaurant it is great, you can see how they prepare what you are going to eat, super fresh, hygienic, and the staff is bilingual and very friendly.”
“Great market, wonderful selection of Mexican groceries, really nice carniceria with great meat and prices, the cheapest was the chicken thighs at 1.09 a lb. Beef, pork, chicken, fish, shrimp, and an array of other meats, lovely veggies and a big variety. Very clean store and friendly staff, don't forget they have a small restaurant inside too. Will be back.”

“This place is a gem, and I don't want to talk to much about it because it risks to be discovered by too many people....The meat selection is great, you can actually see different cuts and their names in spanish for the right recipe. The mini market is clean and offers the tiniest delicious limons , limes from Mexico with the best taste, they have veggies, Tamales and a delicious selection of baked goods that make me want to go back right now!!!!I don't want supermarket meat, I want Carniceria EL Herraderro or nothing!The staff is so lovely, I had a lots of goods to bring back to my car and the lovely cashier helped me carry my goods and was charming and engaging . Lovely people.That's it”
