“It's a great place to get a unique gift for that hard to buy for person. There are things you can't find anywhere else here‐ ethnic jewellery, pottery, purses, bells, clothes, books, and art. There are wonderful gifts for children of all ages. I'll go to just look at all the neat things from countries around the globe. The volunteers who work there are always helpful and polite.”

“As a veteran library-lover and used book hound, finding this was an absolute joy. The selection here rivals some for-profit book stores, and the prices cannot be beat! The books are categorized for ease of browsing, and the shelves are as tidy as any B&N store. Some volunteers were very helpful. Plan to spend at least an hour browsing.”

“Stopped by to drop off can tabs. I was promptly met by the most friendly person who was very grateful for the donation. While I've never had to use the services of the Ronald McDonald Charities, I appreciate the good work they do & will continue to support them!”

“This place was so amazing. Debbie helped me with what looked good on me in a business casual setting. I had no professional clothes at all and was starting job training in less than 2 weeks. I couldn't believe the quality of clothes I was given for free. This place is very special. I am so grateful for this organization.”

“On New Year's Day, I became a blood donor for the first time. This is a clean, well-organized facility with great staff. Steve and Raul were excellent hosts and answered all of my many, many questions. Thanks for making it such a positive and rewarding experience!”

“This organization is wonderful. They are very experienced and they KNOW greyhounds. I was having behavioral issues with our greyhound that was NOT adopted from them and they gave me the advice I could not find from any veterinarian. There is a shortage of greyhounds so perhaps people are angry because their applications are not being processed. I understand this because we were rejected by several organizations or our application was ignored because we didn't live in Tucson.”

“What an amazing and cute place. I came to buy kindness coins, and we found out that you can volunteer to paint everything they sell. The staff was above and beyond helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. We will definitely be looking into volunteer opportunities and having my 4 year old son learn how to help and be part of something special.”

“What a gem of a store, staffed by the loveliest, most helpful volunteers. The clothing is so clean and stylish, ready to be worn right out of the store. Items are sorted, grouped, by style, by size, by type. It is very easy to make the rounds from tops, jackets, skirts, slacks, hats, shoes, boots, and sandals. Then, you move to hand-made new toys, books, and collectibles. Everything is so clean, so well organized. You are left with such a pleasant experience and many new purchased finds when you finally have to end your visit. But, then you find that you'll get a discount on your next visit! What's not to love?”

“Oh my gosh! This is such an awesome find in Barrio Viejo of Tucson. Truly one of a kind! I went to the art opening on Sept 2, it was so cool to meet so many local artists and see the many ways humans express themselves. They have a cool little gift shop of art books for adults and children, donated artwork and cool vintage jewelry too. Love this place!”

“This is an awesome facility & newly opened as per contractual agreement with the city of Tucson for at least the 2021 calendar year, from what I understand. Don't be cold out there, come on down by 4:30 PM nightly & you're good to go! Don't be any later than 6:00 PM or you WILL miss out! The cots are comfy with a sheet & blanket (bring a lint brush, they're disaster blankets!) & the food & service are all STELLAR! If you're familiar with the staff over at the Hospitality House on 1001 N Main Avenue at Speedway, then your favorites will be over here working as well! So far I've counted Margie, Cynthia, Steve, Jill, Captain O, & Jason here as well in my three nights here so far.Bringing in your own cell phones & food is okay to do here, just make certain you check in any knives and/or weapons & you'll get them back when you ask for them in the morning. There's a fairly nice 48" TV in the large main sleeping room with 24 men's cots at present. Then there's probably 12-16 men's cots in the main men's hall, four in the back room, & one good-sized women's dorm off the men's main hall that sleeps around 8-12 women only. Dinner is served promptly at 6:00 PM with lots of leftover's, & breakfast is served at 6:00 AM, & again, the leftover's abound with plenty of fresh coffee served at both meals. If you want to shower, the van will take you to the Hospitality House at 1001 N Main Ave at 5:00 PM then it leaves there at 5:30 PM to come back here again in plenty of time for dinner. Tell them when you check in before 4:30 PM that you want to go if you do - they only van shuttle six clients per trip. At 8:00 AM the van will shuttle you back to Hospitality House from here again for a shower or to do laundry if you request either or both, but do speak up and ask staff by 7:00 PM the night before if you want to go. There's room to store your stuff too - just ask Captain O or other staff the night before & you don't have to lug it around all day IF YOU ARE RETURNING the same night. So the hours here are 4:30 PM - 8:00 AM, then with a ride back to The Ronstadt if you need it! Pretty cool & just a fantastically relaxed situation with staff very chill too! You'll like the faces of Salvation Army here that you're not familiar with! Wonderful! Everyone is very well-behaved here & that's about all you need to be able to fit in here. Good food & plenty of it! Cigarette breaks every hour on the hour & the last one's at 10:00 PM & then it's lights out. DON'T be COLD! Warm your bones here! We're waitin' on ya!”
