“Best Vet's in Tucson. They treat each animal like it was their own. They are patient and work slowly and respectful of each pets personality. Exams are complete and every staff member is kind and caring. If your animal is scared of other animals they do their best to accommodate you so there is no conflicts. Service and emergency appointments are handle with promptness and a smile.”
“I had an amazing experience here. The front desk staff was very helpful at getting an urgent appointment, and the way they treated my cat was beyond AMAZING. I saw Dr Benitez and Emilio and they were both awesome. They were so comforting, and they explained everything in great detail which helped me understand. There were bird feeders for him to watch, cat scratchers and feliway, the room definitely helped him feel at home. So so happy I found this place.”

“Dr. Upchurch and her staff are fantastic. My wife and I have been taking our cats here for 20 years and have always had great experiences.
She helped us as our first pair of cats got older and lived to 16 and 18, including cancer care. She's been great with our new pair of cats, including a tooth removal when our orange guy busted a tooth.
Throughout all that, she has been nice, professional, knowledgeable and kind. Your cats will get the best care here.”
“Kindred Spirits offers a wonderful service. My malamute, Olly was diagnosed with bone cancer and declined fast. I made an appointment with Dr. Barrett to come to the office. On the day of the appointment, I decided it was too traumatic to transport Olly. Dr. Barrett and her assistant compassionately accommodated me and rescheduled to come to my location.
I was nervous about the procedure, but it was a very peaceful experience from the moment they arrived. Dr. Barrett was very patient and made sure we were ready to proceed with each step. She was very gentle performing the steps, and I had complete confidence in her. Olly passed without any stress, and they took his body away and I knew he was in the care of loving hands. I chose not to receive any remains, and she let me know that her and her family spread the ashes of all the pets that they help if not returned to the owner.
They also gave me a booklet to read on how to cope with the grief of losing a pet which was very helpful. I highly recommend Kindred Spirits.”
“We’ve been coming to this clinic for years with three different dogs, and can confidently say that both the environment and atmosphere are incredibly professional and altruistic. The doctor and staff have treated our dogs like family with respect, compassion, and like one of their own. With a clean and friendly office, it always makes the stereotypical “dreadful vet visit” a pleasant experience for both the animals and the their owners. In all our years of coming here, there has only been one instance of misunderstanding, and not only was it quickly recognized, but also simply resolved with great follow-up communication that exceeded my expectations. And I already had great expectations for this place. It would be unfair to anticipate perfection from any place of business, but I can positively say that any pet owner would be more than gratified putting their trust into this establishment. Unfortunately, they were dealing with an emergency, and by the time the vet was available, my pet had become too anxious to continue. Even with everything they had going on, the team remained kind, patient, and compassionate. Emergencies happen, and I truly appreciate the care they gave both the emergency patient and my pet. I'm confident it would have been a smoother visit for us otherwise. I wouldn't hesitate to come back if my pet weren't so anxious outside of his home environment, would absolutely recommend giving them a try.”

“Unfortunately we had to euthanize one of our old dogs recently and - as always with anything done here - Mesquite Veterinary Hospital couldn’t have been any kinder, more supportive, or helpful. They handled my grief with great diplomacy and care. I loved how Dr. Baker handled the process (to the extent that you can love this experience), including his asking if I’d be okay with him saying a prayer (and I certainly was but I appreciated his asking first, let alone the gesture itself)), I loved how Cecilia at the front desk and the vet technicians all handled everything. Caring, kind, and just great overall.”

“My bf has been taking his pup here for a while (Milo) and we LOVE Dr. Boyer. Hearing of her retirement and the new Dr taking over the practice I was nervous of change . But, this Dr. was SO kind, loving to my pups, and spoke in a way I could understand. Got on the floor and made my pup feel safe and happy before treatment. She explained things to me in a way I could understand and gave me options. The tech, Nikayta, AMAZING! The entire staff is wonderful. Feels like home when you walk through the doors. “I have been coming to Briar crest since moving here to Tucson. Probably discovered this vet back in 2009. Every single vet I have had manage my multiple pets healthcare have been exceptional. The staff also have been wonderful. The vets and staff truly do care about your pets as close to them as you do. They listen to concerns and I do not second guess their care. I highly recommend this practice. Dr Maki is my primary vet and is out of this world amazing!”

“We just started taking our dogs to this vet because they both have health issues that conventional medicine has not been helping with. Unfortunately, Holistic vets are close to non-existent no matter where anyone lives, and Dr. Paula Medler is the only one in Tucson accepting new clients, so I can't compare medication pricing in order to give a good answer on if theirs is reasonable or not. She is willing to take on hard to deal with dogs as long as they're muzzled (and possibly on gabapentin, maybe even trazadone as well if they are extremely bad). Sometimes putting an old towel or blanket over the dogs head while they're being examined will calm them down as well. She did well with our PACC dog that had previously been abused and is scared to death of men he isn't familiar with. She started him on TCM herbal medication, which although still hasn't completely fixed his problem, does seem to help”
“The environment itself is so calm and then the workers there are so pleasant and kind. The doctor explains everything he is doing. He does not push anything on you. He just informs you with information that you need. This was an excellent experience. I felt safe. I felt like my dog was safe. And I felt like my money was safe.”
