While lines can be long, the personnel at the local Post Office are often friendly and amazing, working with a smile to keep the line moving and even making the wait more entertaining. They are fast, responsive, and very helpful with services like money orders. The service provided is generally loved, getting the job done reliably. Although occasional issues like maintenance problems can occur, the overall experience is positive. It is a necessary service that, despite some grumpy perceptions, consistently delivers.
I always have a pleasant experience, no matter who is working the counter. Sometimes I have to wait in line, but it's never for long.
