Old Trails True Value and Pat saved my first trip to the Grand Canyon! My SUV experiences a shattered rear window on our way, there was no possibility of getting it replaced until Monday or Tuesday, our only hope was covering it up somehow. Pat not only recommended the plastic and all weather duct tape to use, he measured the window to ensure we got the correct size. AND he helped us two old ladies apply the plastic! It held up to wind, rain, snow and 82 MPH until I could get a proper replacement! Forever grateful for Pat and his above and beyond service!

Most of the staff is very helpful and friendly. Cashiers not so much. Prices are a little high, but it's the only hardware in town.

Great store, always seem to have everything I need. Helpful staff in finding things. It was really busy Saturday afternoon and they had 3 registers going...very nice.

It was my average visit today they are the only hardware store we have in Williams. As usual very very overpriced and very under knowledge staff, no one knows where anything is we've gotten used to it over this past year don't expect much more

It's awesome having this local hardware store in Williams. They carry a surprising amount of items. Staff is always friendly, so expect to be asked if you need help a few times. Prices are higher than the chain box store, but as long as it's not too much more, we'll pay it for the convenience of not having to drive to Flagstaff.

I'm giving old trails true value a zero. My husband's friend bought a water pump from them on April 27 2023. My husband's friend is a elderly man that served in Vietnam and is Native American. He is new to the area and knows nothing of off grid living. The water worked twice and then stopped. He took it back on may 1 2023 only wanting to exchange it. The receipt he got sAid he had 30 days to exchange. When he took it back Victor told him there was nothing wrong with it. So he called my husband. My husband asked that they run water through it just to make sure. So they took it in back and a few minute's later brought it to our friend, dry as a bone, and said it worked just fine. So may 1 2023 in the evening my husband went over to out friend's house to hook it up and get water pumping into the trailer. It didn't work. So he packed up the pump in its original box and gave my husband the receipt. Today May 3 2023 I went to old trails true value and told them it wasn't pumping water and I wanted to exchange it. The lady at the cash register called her supervisor over. I told her what was happening and that our friend brought it in day before yesterday and was told it worked fine but they didn't pump the water infront of him and gave it back dry. She told me that she didn't appreciate me calling Victor a lier and there was nothing she was going to do. I asked her to put it in water infront of me just to see if it worked. She told me no that they didn't have enough staff to take the time to show me if it worked. Mind you there was only one customer in the store that I could see and several staff. I told her I could wait for her or her staff to have time to show me if it works. She then said you'll have to wait all day. I told her that was fine. I had nothing to do today that I could wait. Then she told me that Victor wouldn't be in until tomorrow and he was the only one that could show me if it worked or not. I said great what time will he be here so I can show up. She then said that there was Noth she could do. I then again asked her if they could just exchange it. And asked for corporates number. She said they don't have a corporate office but she would exchange it. My question is why would they treat this man or any customers this way! Is it because he is Native American? Is it because he's elderly? Is it because he's a Vietnam vet? And why would anyone treat our vets like this??? Is it because he's new to the area, knows nothing about off grid living, and is easily taken advantage of?? This was by far the worst customer service i've ever experience!! This was some of the worst treatment I've seen of a veteran and a Native American!! We will NEVER do business here again! Which is a shame because my husband is a handyman around here and would be purchasing and has purchased many thing from here. Not ever again!!
