Valle Travel Stop is a unique and convenient pit stop located between the Grand Canyon and nearby towns like Williams and Flagstaff. While some visitors mention that prices can be high, they also recognize the value of this gem in a remote area. The stop offers a range of services, including gas, a taco truck serving authentic Mexican food, and a gift shop filled with diverse items, from Western clothing and cowboy boots to Route 66 memorabilia and American icons like Elvis and Marilyn Monroe. Customers appreciate the helpful staff who are eager to answer questions and assist with purchases. The shop also features interesting finds like rocks and gems, making it a memorable place for travelers. Although some employees may seem irritable at times, the dedication of the staff to keep Valle Travel Stop running is commendable. Overall, it is a great place to refuel and explore before heading to grander destinations.
Decent travel shop with lots of small gift options or travel trinkets. Bathrooms are decent but not great.

Great stop on the way to the South Rim. Lots of John Wayne stuff and they have Sioux City sarsaparilla. Staff was friendly. Note, even the Navajo/Dineh store at Monument Valley has imported, non Navajo/Dineh made items. Just like on Alltribes.com, they will tell you what is genuine Native American made.

Prices are higher than Williams, but it's what you'd expect.
