“After many hours on the road sightseeing AJs was a welcomed vision that glowed in the night. We gassed up and then parked the car to use the facilities inside. Which was found clean and functional. There is a nice array of items in the mini mart gift shop with an additional shop of Native American crafts which sadly was not open at 7pm when we arrived. As we shopped, both employees, Deacon and Lana, greeted us. No pressure, just offering assistance, if needed. We waited for the people making noodles to leave the coffee area only to find there was no coffee (insert sad face) this was understandable since they were getting ready to close at 8pm. Then an angel appeared from behind the counter named Lana! With a smile she said, “I can make you any coffee you want.” Quickly she whipped the most delectable, hot, soothing cup of goodness our bodies were longing for. We paid for the coffee and our new treasures and asked if we could sit outside for a little bit before returning to the car to continue our long journey home. Both Deacon and Lana said YES. This was a life saver. Not only did the employees make us feel at ease, but they also assisted us in safely getting to our final destination. Thank you!!”

“I must say as an easy coast guy I was not expecting such a nice spot in the middle of nowhere on the way to the Grand canyon. But I was pleasantly surprised with this very nice place. There's a quick mart and a coffee shop and a restaurant and a restroom and even trinkets made by the locals. You can also buy souvenirs here. And here's my favorite souvenir hack: never buy souvenirs at the official souvenir shop or by a visitor center as it's always more expensive rather go to a store outside the official park or attraction like this place and get the same thing for cheaper. Listen and you'll find what makes my vacations so much more pleasant without spending big bucks on small souvenirs. It really changes my vacations.”

“Service is slow most of the time, long lines. They exchange propane but the girls they hire can barely manage sometimes. Hard to find workers in Williams, I know, but this is a complex gas station and needs better workers. To be fair all the places in Williams are like this. It's pretty annoying trying to get things done. I really like their gas pump setup though.”

“Kinda tight getting in, only a couple of pumps. Clean, convenience store stocked well. Decent cheap cigarette prices. Friendly staff. There's a restroom here too.”

“Came out west on vacation, stopped for gas here in our rental car. While pumping gas our rental cars key fob battery died, they don’t sell batteries here that fit, the dude that worked here was amazing ! He helped out as much as he could, even though in the end the car had to be towed, and we were left stranded for a hr or 2. There was a really nice woman that gave us a ride to Tusayan to the hotel. People out west here have been phenomenal human beings.. Will be stopping here again when we come back out this way !”

“We had a couple of tires on our 5th wheel trailer damaged due to the TERRIBLE condition of the I-40!!! Potholes so bad people on Waze were reporting them. We pulled into the Shell station Saturday night at 8pm and Jose was very kind and allowed us to park overnight. Keith and Juan arrived at 6:30 am Sunday put new tires on the trailer and fixed the valve core on the front tire of our truck. We are so grateful for their service as it made our experience more pleasant. Thank you so much!!”

“The Zoltar machine was one of the best parts of my trip to the Grand Canyon. It's a real functioning one just like in the move Big that I grew up watching. I wished I was small. Zoltar gave me some good advice that was sorely needed. I also made it out the door with a dreamcatcher and a Mexican cross for around $32. The employees were cool to me, enjoyed chatting with them. I cannot recall how the gas prices were because my tank was already full, but if I remember correctly I either couldnt find any pesticide-free grain-free snacks or they were overpriced. I know I didn't buy any food nor drinks. I plan to visit the Zoltar machine again on my way out. For Big fans, the Zoltar machine alone is worth stopping here. It's only a buck! Great feelings of nostalgia to my childhood. No dance-top floor piano, but even triggering those memories of the film are good enough. Can't wait to consult Zoltar again for some more advice. Being big is a drag... costs too much to stay well fed. Zoltar- I wish I was small!”

“I’ve been to the Matador coffee inside the food mart a few times. They have amazing coffee and the breakfast burritos are very good. Unfortunately they have gotten my coffee and breakfast orders wrong multiple times now.”

“Seemed to be a little run down but proved to be fine. I was filling up an RV so wanted a lot of fuel but due to prices in Williams (and possibly being on route 66) I decided to put a small amount in and the drive to Flagstaff where I had to return a car. No issues with putting a small amount of fuel in. The staff/owner was friendly and welcoming and made the whole process easy.”

“Stopped here for gas on the way to Grand Canyon. Restrooms were clean and there were a couple of tables inside, next to what appears to be a closed deli section.”

“My husband, Andy, who used to be employed at Safeway, had a tire repaired here today by a very kind, professional, courteous & knowledgeable young man named Mario. Andy said he was a pit crew all on his own being amazed by his talents. Also, giving a shout out for Kaitlyn (spelling) who was also very kind & courteous. These are two outstanding employees at this establishment. Thank you so much again, Andy truly appreciated your help.”
