What a beautiful setting for our party of four. The appetizer was out of this world delicious, they had fried and stuffed squash blossoms as a special offering. Honestly, I could have eaten all four of them with a side of their smoked gouda polenta and been very satisfied. I ordered the lamb sampler which was three different lamb dishes on one plate, I think the chops were the best of the three but the tamale was a close second. The pork carnitas were excellent with a great sauce of chilies and smoked gouda polenta. Our guests ordered the shrimp pasta and bacon wrapped filet, both were happy with their choices. For desert we all had the creme brule, which was decadent. We returned for breakfast and were amazed again. Definitely try the Arizona Corn Maiden and the Juevos Rancheros. The green chili potatoes had a kick, so be careful if you are sensitive with spicy food.

We had dinner on a Tuesday night. The place was not at all crowded. I was afraid there would be TVs blaring everywhere. But while there were several TVs, they were not loid and was pretty easy to sit where they were out of sight. Decent beer selection (though my choices were cans not drafts). Food was great, and came quickly. Portions were manageable. Would go again if in Winslow.
