Gateway Park is a vibrant and well-maintained outdoor space in Yuma that offers a variety of activities for visitors. Nestled alongside the Colorado River, it is an ideal spot for walking dogs, fishing, swimming, and enjoying picnics. The park features clean facilities, plenty of shade, and beautiful green grass, making it a perfect place to relax and people-watch. Visitors appreciate the scenic river walk that connects to the city's pathways, allowing for easy exploration. Families can enjoy the playground, while nature lovers may catch glimpses of local wildlife, such as Road Runner Birds. The park is a favorite among locals for its stunning sunsets and ample opportunities for outdoor activities. However, some guests have noted the noise from nearby traffic and suggested improvements like stair access from the parking area. Despite these minor concerns, Gateway Park remains a beloved destination that ties the community to the river, providing a calm retreat from the desert landscape. It’s a place where families can create lasting memories, whether splashing in the water or simply enjoying the beauty of nature.

Went to Art in the park. Nice park. Need to incorporate stairs from parking area above down to park. Or at least have signage along top edge indicating where to go to get down to park.

Nice place to stretch. Tesla charging station nearby. Two great coffee shops within a walking distance. Park is a bit Noisy due to the proximity to the concrete bridge as cars woosh at 70 mph above
