I booked a rental through Priceline and showed up at Hertz. They told me they didn’t have a car for me since I booked with Priceline third party they don’t know there inventory. I understand that but they were jerks about it. Didn’t care or suggest anything else. Basically ignored me after. They was all standing around doing nothing anyway. Will never again choose Hertz

Hertz Car Rental - Yuma Airport saved the Day!! Thank you so much for going above & beyond!! I had originally scheduled a car rental from Enterprise...to seat 8 people for a trip to Disneyland...upon arrival the SUV had captain chairs in the middle aisle so we would not fit! And our plan was to leave by 2pm...asked each rental &..last but not least HERTZ to the rescue!! They cleaned that giant 15 passenger van while i waited...customer service A+++, was half the price of SUV at Enterprise & they were so nice!! Thank you for going above & beyond!! 5 Star Review! I'll be using Hertz again!! Thanks!

Terrible Experience with Hertz – Avoid If You Value Customer Service
We rented a car from Hertz in El Paso, and it broke down in Yuma, Arizona. From that moment on, the experience went downhill fast. When we contacted Hertz for help, the representatives were rude, unhelpful, and completely indifferent to our situation.
Rather than taking responsibility for the faulty vehicle they provided, they told us we’d have to pay for a tow ourselves or upgrade to a truck for an additional $250. They refused to exchange the vehicle on the spot and said our only option was to drive (and risk breaking down again) to either Imperial, California or Phoenix, Arizona.
To make matters worse, they claimed a truck could be ready in two hours—but it became clear they weren’t actually doing anything to help. The worst part? They laughed at our situation and made sarcastic, unprofessional remarks.
Hertz showed a total lack of accountability and customer care. I ended up having to pay out of pocket for another rental because of their failure. I would strongly advise against using Hertz if you want peace of mind or support when something goes wrong. Your apology means nothing I felt screwed and missed up and embarrassed I'm looking to speak to a high person in your industry as I don't want your apology I want my money back for your lack of customer service as it's not my fault that your car didn't work

They charge me $250 because the car smelled like cigarettes. The car already smelled like cigarettes when they gave me the car.

Service was ok, but loyalty program means nothing on car availability and selection... Update, be careful, was charged twice for the same rental on two different credit cards associated with my loyalty account. Having to challenge one of the charges.

I went into the Yuma Airport to get quotes for rental cars (I found out the my cars entire rear differential is failing, and driving would be a hazard, so I opted to rent a car to avoid driving before it is fixed). Naturally, due to the unforeseen circumstance and the looming thousands of dollars fix I was about to pay, I just wanted the most cost efficient option. I went up to the desk of Hertz, and I asked if I could please get a quote on a rental. One of workers (a man) interrupts me and abruptly asks if I have a credit card, if I could describe his tone it would liken that of a teenage girl bullying another girl in high school. I respond yes I have a credit card. He continues, to tell me they don’t take debit cards (yeah, I know this; but mansplain some more, guy) As I look astounded at him, he then asks if I am at least 25. I respond yes. Obviously, I’m annoyed that I’m being treated as if I am a child, as no attempt has been made to speak to me as a customer, I’m just being told the pre-reqs to rent a car. He then continues to tell me he “didn’t want to waste time on me” if I couldn’t rent a car. I have rented cars numerous times… I was so stunned and frustrated with his condescending tone and the grilling of questions that I just told them never mind and went with enterprise, the difference in cost couldn’t be worth this. As I walk away I can hear the workers snickering and talking (I can only assume about me). I am 26 and yes I have a credit card. I have also rented from that hertz on numerous occasions for work as active duty military. I walked out of that place, enterprise keys in hand past these people who made my bad day, well worst. I recommend going with a company that has more mature workers.

The customer service given to service members is disgusting. I was treated very poorly by a female employee at this location, after asking the female employee for her name to report the incident I was given a false name. When trying to contact the manager “Freddie” to learn the employee’s name in order to contact corporate I was treated very poorly by the branch manager as well stating that is was “confidential information” and threatening to call my command?. The reviews about this location are horrific and unacceptable. I was put on the no rent list which is great because I would never willingly rent from this company anyways after reading all of the reviews I’m not sure what is being done to stop this from happening to other customers.

Worst rental place at Yuma airport. Closed when I landed and I had to Uber to hotel and then Uber back the next morning for them to tell me that my car that I was supposed to get yesterday isn't ready yet.

These employees are a disgrace! They way they treat ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY is atrocious! When asking for assistance, they tell you to Google it. I will never willingly use this company! Absolutely disgusting!
EDIT: Received response and in reply to response: My husband is a President Circle Member, and while trying to contact them, they ignored his member and active duty status. They gave away his rental, pushed him to another agency, and wouldn't even discuss his points loss due to being switched to Avis. His loss of points has still not been addressed.

I would rate zero stars if it was possible. Received the rental with no gas, it was brought to the attendants attention who then stated we would not be charged for the fuel. Returned it the day after with no gas just as we received it and was then charged after all for the full deposit. Terrible customer service and very incompetent.
