“This store is a bargain hunters delight. Some items are very close dated in the food section. Clothing is separated by size. The one section I dislike is the small appliances etc. This section is along one wall and several shelves deep. It is not organized, appears to be Amazon returns, possibly other places also. Totally disorganized. Apparently items are just put wherever there is room on a shelf. These items do not always have prices on them, also they are often not a bargain.
The employees are courteous and helpful for the most part. They are very busy and there can be quite a line-usually another line is opened.”
“If I bought the exact same items at Walmart today I’d have spent $39.71. Instead I paid $21.60. A savings of $18.11!!! Thank you Dollar General. Staff is great and store always looks nice.”
“The electronics/check out is still running off the 1st original system. It's a generation or 2 behind. Other than that it's your normal, dependable, reliable, always stocked, every day, friendly neighborhood dollar general store. And thank goodness it's open on days, holidays, when wal-marts should be open. But are closed instead.”

“It really depends on which store location you shop at. We have three in my town and two out of the three are in good shape and for the most part stocked. There's one store location on James Street in Jacksonville Arkansas that needs serious help .”
“I'm obsessed with Dirt Cheap. If you're ok with searching through lots of stuff you don't want to find something really great you'll love it! I've found so many great home pieces here and super nice, designer clothes. Fyi: No dressing rooms, and the bathrooms are DISGUSTING.”
