The Bird’s Nest by Kollecta Creations is an absolute gem in our local community! It is a beautiful, family-owned business run by Hector and Nikole, who are genuinely wonderful people. If you follow them on social media, you have probably seen their two amazing kids participating in their hilarious, funny videos—it makes you feel like part of the family before you even walk in. Hector is incredibly talented and crafts gorgeous wooden creations. While most of the inventory features his own unique designs, he also does incredible custom work if you have a specific vision in mind. It is the ultimate spot to just crash, relax, and tap into your creative side.

“I cannot say enough great things about Amanda and her store. The north side that she rents I used for my daughter’s bridal shower. And it was the perfect backdrop for our event. The space feels so calm and peaceful. And it was so easy to add my touch to make it more like my daughter. Communication was excellent with Amanda and the sweet people that work for her as well. I highly recommend it for your next event. And after they can go next door and shop. Most of our guest did just that. 😊😊”

After visiting the other location and finding all sorts of fabulous stuff…I wound up in DTR visiting other shops and popped in to compare. More great stuff and more great staff. There is every imaginable gift or fun thing to buy here. Curated collection of beautiful things and the nicest staff. I asked one question about an item and they went above and beyond to let me know that it was coming in and that they would keep one for me! It’s appreciated greatly and I’m now a regular!
