“This is a great shop and a great group of employees! I want to give a personal shout out to service manager Dustin Hurst and our tech Richard. My son’s new car (2025 Honda Civic that he bought after basic training) developed a bump in the rear of the vehicle. He limped the car to Plaza Tire on Johnson (close to his college campus) to get it checked while I drove across town to meet him. By the time I arrived, the tech had the wheel off his car and inside for us to see. It looked like the tire had mumps! Bulges everywhere. I asked how much a new tire would cost, but Dustin told us to call the local Honda dealership because it was an obvious defect in the tire. I called Honda who asked us to bring the tire over. Richard loaded the tire in my truck and we drove it to Honda. Honda instantly agreed it was a defect and replaced the tire. When we returned to Plaza, Richard took the tire and said he’d have us ready in five minutes. Dustin refused to charge us a dime for their help and service. He simply said that he was happy to help us get everything taken care of. Wow! Honesty and integrity. Hard to find these days. But guess what…My truck needs a set of new AT tires. You can bet that Plaza is getting THAT sale. Thanks gentlemen!”

“Amazing customer service!! After frantically worrying about how far I would have to drive on my spare so I can get my tire fixed, I realize the closest place was just two blocks from my house. Even though they were working on several vehicles, they went to work on mine right away. I appreciate the young man who explained to me the price difference in a used tire and a new tire.. And I think he picked out a really good used one for me. Now I know I don’t have to drive so far when I’m ready to replace all my tires.”

“Had my mother’s 2020 GMC Terrain towed there day after Christmas. Since it was towed there they said it had to be worked in, I thought maybe a week, no still not worked in almost 4 weeks. We have been without a car for weeks had to pay another tow bill to take it to another mechanic.”

After driving on gravel roads most of the day, I started hearing a loud screech from one of my driver’s side wheels. Being from Kansas City and needing to drive back the next day, I wanted to ensure there was no serious issue. I suspected a rock was caught between the rotor and dust shield, but I needed to confirm it. After calling four other places, I remembered the Sam's Club nearby, where my Nana shopped. Without calling ahead, I drove straight there, hoping they could help.
John Kirby quickly came to my aid, helping me identify the source of the noise. Sure enough, a tiny rock was causing the loud screech I'd been hearing—and likely annoying anyone nearby! John didn't ask for my name or membership; he simply saw someone in need and helped.
