I’m 73 and with a slight handicap, so that would have been a nice touch. But I guess “above and beyond” is a little much to ask.”

As I waited the mechanics gave the car a run through as to any other issues it might have. Thankfully they took pics and explained each issue , if not for them I would not have known about these issues. “Bought some tires online. Called Gee Street tire on a Saturday morning, they put my tires on for $100 for the set. Before I called them I went to another tire store in Jonesboro as way of the gate and they told me 50 dollars a tire. Arrived at 10am and by 11am I was driving away with my new tires on the pavement. They were efficient and very friendly. Will give them my business from now on.”
“My 2016 ford fiesta was having problems, purge valve. Brian was a big help, I originally thought I was gonna have to spend $200 to $300 for this but he only quoted me $100. If your from this area and need a car issue solved go to University Auto.”

“Had my mother’s 2020 GMC Terrain towed there day after Christmas. Since it was towed there they said it had to be worked in, I thought maybe a week, no still not worked in almost 4 weeks. We have been without a car for weeks had to pay another tow bill to take it to another mechanic.”

“I've been using Lawrence's for car repairs for several years and they do a great job. They keep me informed on what needs to be done & how much it will cost, they try to keep cost as low as possible, & they are trustworthy. I appreciate that they don't seem to talk down to me or pull one over on me because I'm a woman...unfortunately, some places do. Lawrence's has been very dependable & honest, & the man I usually deal with (don't know his name) has a very calm and patient manner which helps if I'm stressed about car problems. If you need a new mechanic, give them a try if you're looking for a good price & a trustworthy business.”

The parking lot was a great size as we were hauling a long trailer.

John Kirby, along with the Sam's Club Tire team in Jonesboro, proved this philosophy true tonight. With closing time just an hour away on a Sunday, they showed outstanding dedication to customer service.
After driving on gravel roads most of the day, I started hearing a loud screech from one of my driver’s side wheels. Being from Kansas City and needing to drive back the next day, I wanted to ensure there was no serious issue. I suspected a rock was caught between the rotor and dust shield, but I needed to confirm it. After calling four other places, I remembered the Sam's Club nearby, where my Nana shopped. Without calling ahead, I drove straight there, hoping they could help.
John Kirby quickly came to my aid, helping me identify the source of the noise. Sure enough, a tiny rock was causing the loud screech I'd been hearing—and likely annoying anyone nearby! John didn't ask for my name or membership; he simply saw someone in need and helped.

“The whole team is willing to do whatever they can to help, but Go in there and ask for Robert, long hair and glasses. He is down with the shit. Had a family friend have a flat tire in Batesville and they pulled from their trade in tires just to get her home. Then help me out swapping a tire and did it for a song. I told him next time I’d tip him fat, so the least I can do is put in a good review until next time. Earned my business for life.”
