Pet Care
Van Buren County Veterinary Clinic
937 US-65, ClintonWe had an amazing echocardiogram appointment with Dr. Justin Thomason!
Our dog is very nervous at vet clinics and around new people, but Dr. Thomason was so patient, kind, and confident with him. Our dog even took a treat from his hand, which is something he absolutely never does with people he’s just met!
The appointment took about an hour, and Dr. Thomason explained everything along the way. Even though my husband and I don’t know much about these things, I really appreciated how he took the time to explain everything to us.
We also have our dog on a plant-based diet, and I really appreciated that Dr. Thomason didn’t judge us. Instead, he listened to all our questions and was genuinely there to help!
I’d also like to thank the two ladies who helped hold our dog during the echocardiogram. They were both so attentive and kind to us!
And of course, I can’t forget their majestic cat, Albus, who is just so sweet and brave! He happily greeted us and even tried to make friends with our dog.
Last but not least, beautiful birdies, Sky and Poly! (I hope I caught their names correctly.) If I had known there were such cute residents there, I would have brought them some treats!
Overall, the whole experience felt more like visiting someone’s home than a vet clinic, which is something I’ve never experienced before.
Thank you all so much for making us feel so welcome and for taking such wonderful care of our dog. God bless you all! ❤
