The Attic is a thrift store with a lot of history, known as the first in Fayetteville. It is currently located in the south area of town. The store is old but well tended and clean, offering loads of bargains and daily sales. It is a good place for vintage finds to beautify your home or yourself, where a couple dollars goes a long way. The prices are lower than any other resale shop in town, especially for clothes. Most of the people who work there are kind and helpful volunteers, and all proceeds go to fund nursing scholarships and community support organizations. Some customers note that the store only accepts cash or check, not credit or debit cards. While most volunteers are sweet, there is occasional feedback about one who is not kind. Overall, it is a treasure hunt to your heart’s delight and a good place to support.
