“This was one of the best shopping experiences I've had in a minute!! The employees are super friendly and helpful. Clean, organized, the dressing rooms are spacious and clean.”
“I love the Peace at Home Thrift Store. The staff were helpful and happy (one lady was whistling)!! They have lots of clothing, books, and shoes, and also some furniture, home goods/decor, jewelry, and even a few things for your fur babies. Prices are affordable from $0.50 to about $5.00/6.00. Happy hunting!!”
“I had purchased a weedeater with a battery and when I got home, it didn’t work so I brought it back. The battery that I had worked on another unit that they had in store. The very kind manager allowed me to swap them out. Didn’t have to do that, but was so kind to do so. Love Potters House.”
“Made a drop off at this goodwill location for the first time. Excellent customer service. Chris came out to my van and helped me. I really appreciated his kindess and humor! Thank you Chris. We will be back.”
“Not sure what was happening a year ago, but this location used to be very rough with not a whole lot in it. Noticed this summer they cleaned it up a bunch, and there must be air fresheners because it smells cozy. Lots of nice furniture made up into displays, and they set me up with a discount and a delivery driver for a sofa bed I purchased. Pillars of the community and one of my new favorite thrifting locations in town.”
“I don’t know what’s with all the hate, but this is my favorite thrift store in Fayetteville. They have the cheapest, most affordable clothes and you find lots of gems here. They have $5 bag days often. Their proceeds go to Nursing student scholarships and they are volunteer-run. I think it’s funny that people keep saying they’re walking in at 2:45 and getting an attitude & rating it one star- I invite them to drop their places of work and I’ll drop in 15 mins before closing see if they’re as chipper as they want these volunteers (who are mostly 50-60+ years of age) to be.”

“I LOVE my Salvation Army location. I’ve purchased so much from there at a reasonable price. I used to preferred to shop at Goodwill over Salvation Army, but now that Goodwill has upped their prices I find better deals at Salvation Army. I also love that they started to offer daily deals so I can always save more on top of an already good deal. I have shopped at this location for years and have had the pleasure of visiting with the employees throughout the years. I loved seeing Ivan. He was always smiling and cracking jokes. He ALWAYS made me smile!! Star is super nice and helpful too. I don’t recall the name of the sweet tiny little lady that wears a back brace but she’s always been sweet, helpful and kind. I highly recommend Salvation Army.”

“Good selection and fair prices. The store was mostly organized, and I was able to find some great deals. Staff was friendly and checkout was quick. A little more organization in a few sections would make it even better, but overall a solid place to thrift. I find the Fayetteville store to be one of the better ones.”
“Big selection with things for everyone. I did find some maternity things although it was not sectioned out from the regular items. The prices were really great and its a relief to find a thrift shop with reasonable prices. The woman was very friendly and there was a fitting room to try things on.”
