Heber Springs Humane Society
49 Shelter Ln, Heber SpringsWe adopted the sweetest pair of girls from the shelter, in November 2025. Adoption fee was only 75 dollars and it included the cost of their spay surgeries which was awesome. One had already been fixed but the other hadn't yet and all I had to do was drop her off a month later to have her surgery done and then she was all set. No extra cost. They are very well mannered and love to snuggle whoch is odd for a cat haha. Anyway, the people at the shelter clearly do care about their animals and take good care of them. They are also nice to the people who adopt, too. I was in a rush to get there and didnt have time to put together one of the pet carriers I had just purchased, and one of the ladies there was so sweet she offered to put it together for me while I went back to go pick out my cats. Just really the nicest people you'll ever meet. One of them, Amber, messaged me a few times afterwards asking how the kitties were settling in and stuff like that. It was just so nice.
