“i Was tired of seeing only 1start rating on this gas station. If you look at the reviews the oldest review say it doesn't exist. If that's the case where have i been getting gas at the past 10 years? The next Review say that they was closed @7:30 for a Christmas party and they called and called until someone answered and said where closed and there dawdle rain out of gas. I'm sorry to say this but they had a sign on the door for a while saying they will be and it's her fault for not paying attention to her gas gauge. She would of passed at lest 1 within a 15 mile radius of there. And The one after this sad that they was going to sh*t on the station because no one answered at 10:30. Reason nobody answered is because they closed at 9:00. So please don't hate on this little gas station just because of your stupidness :)”

“It's a full service, small business that is locally owned & JB pumps your gas, checks tire pressure free of charge. He changes tires & works on most vehicles by appointment. His prices are reasonable & fair.”

“The cooks here are excellent. If anyone wants good gizzards you really have to call ahead cause the head cook Laura knows her stuff and sells out almost as fast as it comes out and she only has a limited amount for each day.

But if you want good food friendly service with a smile and even possibly a good laugh head out to short stop in higden arkansas. You won't regret it. You just have to get there for the restaurant style food 4 hours before they close cause the cooks have to close it down to be able to actually get out of there on time before the store closes and the cashiers can not cook and run the front for as busy as they stay. I love their food there I just know what the times are for my restaurant southern home-cooked food.”

“Great little location for a Dollar General. Keeps lake-goers fun having to drive all the way into town for necessities. Staff is friendly, and the parking lot is adequate for even those towing trailers”
