“I stopped in after visiting a client in the area because I saw a sign for homemade cracklins and smoked meat. I had a 1.5-hour drive ahead of me, and knew cracklins are a great road food snack.Their deli case is similar to what you may find throughout various spots in Louisiana, but just mainly more fried food items here.I ended up ordering 1/2 lb of cracklins and a jalapeño and cheese sausage link. The breading on the crackling tasted similar to a fried chicken breading. The taste and texture are more like popcorn chicken, so not a whole ot of cracklin in your mouth when they are warm. After coming to room temperature, they tend to crack a little more. The sausage link has a nice crispy skin and smoky taste. It's served on a hot dog bun.Friendly service from the ladies working behind the counter.”

“I'm paralyzed and in a wheelchair so I called and asked if someone could help please pump gas for me. Without hesitation Alicia came out to my car to get money to prepay the gas and asked if she could also ring up a diet dr. Pepper. She was very kind and friendly, Great Job Alicia!!!!!!”
