“I recently took a tour group to Papa Joe's in Humnoke...and I can't say enough good things about it!!! We started off with the cheese dip, chips and salsa, which were all fresh and very tasty!! I had the bang bang shrimp, which was very good!! Others had chicken salad, fried catfish, fried mushrooms (we all enjoy appetizers as our meal!!) and hamburgers. Everyone was extremely satisfied! Then we moved on to dessert. That's when things got REALLY good!! All the desserts are homemade at Papa Joe's. We tried the coconut cream pie and the caramel pie...both of which had a homemade meringue that defied gravity!! We also sampled (we all shared!!) the chocolate and peach fried pies..., which were some of the best I've ever had!! That day they also had Italian cream cake, key lime pie and several others to choose from. If you are a dessert fan, this is the place to go!! Although it's about 90 minutes from my home, believe me, I'll be going back very soon!!!”
