Campbell Lake Park is a great outdoor destination for walking, biking, and wildlife watching. The park is very clean and well-maintained, with several trails that are suitable for both walking and biking. The Pfeiffer trail, which connects the park to Burns Park, is a particular favorite, as it often features nearby animals and scenic hay bales. The park is a peaceful and relaxing place, with visitors often coming here to unwind when they are feeling stressed or anxious. While there is no playground on-site, the park provides access to restrooms at the nearby Big Dam Bridge/Cooks Landing Park and along the Arkansas River Trail. The park is also dog-friendly, with visitors required to use the complimentary waste bags provided. Overall, Campbell Lake Park is a beautiful and versatile outdoor space, offering opportunities for hiking, biking, fishing, and simply enjoying the natural surroundings. The park is a great resource for the local community, providing a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Beautiful and peaceful trails running parallel to the River Walk. You almost wouldn't even know they were there . I stumbled upon this gem by following the horse trail signs.
