Dillards in partnership with Wells Fargo used deceptive trade practices in their pitch to me to open a new credit card account. (It's no secret WF has done this before when opening credit card accounts). On my last trip to Dillards (Fairview TX) I was pitched to open a credit card account with the promise of 10% discount on my purchase ($60) PLUS a 10% coupon with my first statement. In my experience with other retail shops, the discount is always given at the point of sale, not on the first statement. It was unusual but I trusted the sales associate and agreed. Fast forward to my first statement., no $60 credit and after numerous calls, no satisfaction either. I will absolutely report this to the OCC as deceptive trade practices. I paid my balance in full and am permanently done with Dillards. Shame on your company.Update- Wells Fargo prevailed in the end. They gave me a $60 credit. Dillards never acknowledged or responded to my concern. I shopped there for convenience even if they are a tad higher in prices plus they charge delivery fees for online orders. No comparison to other stores. Customer service is non existent. Corporate office doesn’t care.

My wife loves to buy shoes here. I carry the bags. Parking lot was not that full for Christmas season. I do like that they allow the Salvation Army bell ringers with kettles camp out at the doors. Just reminds me this is the giving season. Employees are usually nice. I know they have to be tired, this time of the year.

Best department store to shop for tweens who are hitting that in between size where girls sizes are too small but they aren’t big enough for juniors. Love Dillard’s!Bought a dress for my tween to attend a wedding and it was perfect!

Came in looking for high end fragrances. Lizzy, who assisted me, was very well spoken and had a lot of knowledge about the products. She asked about detailed scents that I liked, and found the perfect one for me!

Matthew in the suit department changed my life and pushed me to get the slim fit button up shirts instead of fitted fit. I really appreciate him and regret that I wasn't able to buy anything from him while I was in Little Rock. I will be purchasing more slim fit shirts due to his great recommendation. I also appreciated his compliments on my body shape, pointing out the positives. He also introduced me to a shirt brand that has 99 different size options so you can get the exact fit that looks best on you. So I will likely try that out at my local Dillard's.

Okay, I have always liked and enjoyed Dillard's. Not just because of the quality of merch they offer, but also because of it being an Arkansas-based and owned company. That makes me proud. So, let's get to it...The wife and I have a wedding to attend later this summer. In South Carolina. At 4:30 in the afternoon. In South Carolina. In the summer. Why!?!? Well, if it weren't one of the kids getting married, we'd probably have The Rona or something. But, I digress. We decided to go there and look for a good bowtie for me to wear...you know, something that would match her beautiful dress. It's not like I'm going to come anywhere close to how amazing my wife is going to look, but I can at least try to not bring her down too much. So, after looking quite a bit, I decided that I'd sport a tie that matches her dress the best I can. We then decided to walk around the men's side and look at a few things. Over the past 14-15 months, I've lost 75 pounds. And it's going to stay off, as my wife has shown me how to retrain my body to not want the bad stuff, and my thinking to be only about the good stuff. She's awesome like that.Well, we were looking at a couple of shirts by my favorite men's clothier, Roundtree & Yorke. I really like the way their clothes fit me. The wife had picked out this shirt with an L on it. I told her to look again because it was missing an X in front of it (I was an XXL for years.) I knew I wasn't in a 2X anymore, but pretty much know I ain't no L.I was going to try on these couple of XL shirts, when an employee pointed at these racks that read: "L - all $9.99". I thanked her and dismissed it. But not my wife. Nope...not her. She picked out, and I am not exaggerating, seven shirts that she liked. The only problem, other than being the WRONG SIZE, was they were all long sleeved. But, my wife had gone to the trouble of picking these out, so I was fine with trying one on. And then saying NO to all of them because I knew they wouldn't fit.Okay, long story short (you're probably sitting there and saying, "Too late!"), I came out of the dressing room, looked at her, and asked her opinion. She told me it looked "really good" and asked me how it fit. I had to admit right then and there that she was absolutely correct of my size. I'm still kind of not sure this is for real.We left Dillard's with close to $700 in shirts at an amazing price of a little over $110. They fit. I've gone down two full sizes (and she was working on me trying on a M sized shirt, but I just looked at her all funny like). They're brand new and still in style (which I'm almost always right at a decade behind). And, as always, thanks to my beautiful princess, I look great.Thank you, baby! I love you so much! Oh, and you were right. ;)

Today 2 friends of mine were discriminated against and followed out of the mall. It was all caught on camera. It was an awful experience for the both of them... I hope that someone makes this as right as possible by an apology and proper training with security. I will not spend another penny at McCain Mall.

Yesterday evening, I picked my daughters up from the mall and was told there was a pack of teenage boys not only harassing them but other girls at the mall. They feared for their safety to the point where they had to seek refuge in the closest stores. How sad and shameful that this kind of behavior is allowed. Where was security? Hopefully the cameras can be checked so that these idiots aren't ever allowed in the mall again. Management needs to do a better job because they may lose a lot of customers as well as businesses that do care about their customers.
