PLEASE READ THIS MAY SAVE YOUR HAIR!!!I went to have my natural hair BIG CHOP POST 7 MONTHS and Dyed Cooper. The stylist Tim bleached my natural hair. Everyone that knows bleach is the devil on our hair but this lazy no good idiot messed my hair up?!!! He needs more training on proper dye techinques that will notleave you bald.. I kept wondering Today my hair was not growing amd wouldn't hold moisture .. My new stylist did a hair assessment. She informed me that the bleached used previously damaged my natural hair. My hair was ruined ? ? ? which took me this long to grow. She big chop my hair within my 12 month anniversy of my natural Journey ? ? Please save your hair because he will be rushing through your hair scheduling appointments at 5pm but the salon closes at 6pm and set you back a year!!!! . Had an appointment showed up about 10 minutes early . They didn’t ask my name just said what you trying to get ? I said oh I made an appointment . She said ok what were you trying to get . Never asked my name then asked a guy who I didn’t schedule with could he do it. He said he could reschedule me because they closing up . I had an appointment for 5 they closed at 6. Was just getting a haircut not even a style . Just asked if they could remove most of my hair and I would style it myself at home . Said sorry they about to close

I had service at the salon and was told that I had a one week satisfaction guarantee if I didn't like it. When I came back to have my concerns addressed within one week they attempted to charge me for a full price service. Upon complaint I was still charged $60, instead of $75, which means I still paid $30 more than if they had charged me for both services in the first place during our first appointment. Keep in mind I willingly left both appointments with wet unstyled hair to save the stylist time. Now $150 later my hair is orange and I cannot get my issue resolved by the store at 2 pm the next day since no managers on duty can assist with salon issues and was told the only person who can help me is the salon manager. Additionally the salon manager at the second appointment informed me that I was happy with my first service, and the second process was just something extra that I wanted. She insisted that it looked how it was supposed to, keeping in mind that it had to be processed twice during the first visit due to the color not taking resulting in a much darker root color. If they had informed me that I would be paying for another service to get a hairstyle I was happy with under the satisfaction guarantee then I could have just paid someone else all together to fix it or I could have at the very least come in at my convenience instead of being told I had to rush to make a decision on what to do with it inside a week. A customer should be informed when correcting an issue is going to cost a significant amount.

Terrible experience with stylist June. She was rude the whole time. Doesn't know how to cut or style curly hair. I was embarrassed just to walk from the salon to my car afterwards. Not sure how you get through cosmetology school not being able to deal with different styles of hair.

Walked in and was not greeted by anyone. When someone finally saw me they only said hi but never came to the counter. We stood and waited and nobody ever attended to us. We walked out and found a better business to go to.

I love this place! Theres always a good sale on otherwise overpriced hair products! And the staff is polite and customer service oriented - such a HUGE thing these days!

This store doesn't do background checks and hires thieves. I wish I could leave negative stars for this hell hole. The night before our wedding, my husband went to this store to do some last minute shopping. He was in the dressing room when an employee, (now identified as Brittany Kendle), came behind him and stole his wallet. It contained $2500 in cash. She was the ONLY person that came into his dressing room while he stepped out to look in the mirror. She, of course, denied it. We called the police and they questioned her and we made a report. She gave a fake name- her sisters name which is Desirae Kendle. During our own investigation we found out that was not her real name and she lied to the police (obviously guilty), and quit her job the next day (I guess she felt she had hit the jackpot!). The police are still investigating, but the management has been absolutely HORRIBLE about helping with this situation. They claim they don't know how to review the cameras to help aid the investigation, and they also will not return calls. I'm livid about this entire situation and how JCPenney is handling it. They hired a known criminal with a warrant out of Faulkner County. Google her mugshot. JCPenney will pay for this one way or another. I won't give up until justice is served. This store is liable for their employee's actions and their failure to help the investigation whatsoever just shows they could give two craps about their customers. I had just spent $200 there the night before. I will never spend another dime at this place, and the entire central Arkansas area will hear about this when I'm finished. Calling 7 on your side today.
