Had an appointment on Saturday and had an event to attend. My dog had just went to the vet and really needed a good trim. They treated him for an ear infection at the vet and even told me to have the groomers to get around his eyes real good. I went on time only for the woman to barely look at my dog and tell me oh I’ll have to call the vet to get a clearance. In which she never even asked me what services I was needing. We could’ve worked around his ears. I felt since he wasn’t a poodle etc she just didn’t want to service us. How could she not ask me what services I was needing and just was like sorry you’ll have to reschedule and didn’t even call afterwards or anything. Evan truly didn’t deserve that. She literally didn’t even have to do anything with his ears honestly if she didn’t want to touch his face it would’ve been fine. I just wanted my baby trimmed down and I could’ve did the rest at home. Now I’m looking for another place and I didn’t make my event. So I wasted time big time and was pissed! Furthermore even the vet stated he didn’t need a clearance and if he did petco didn’t call them anyways and neither will I! He’s a small dog that doesn’t require much and I felt like I bothered her from doing the dog she was doing. A brush and trim is all I needed. Why? The dog literally had a bath, nails trimmed at the vet, and ears cleaned at the vet! I work with getting people seen by a physician everyday and couldn’t believe she had really turned us away during our appointment. It felt deeper than just cause she seen his ears shining on the inside. It’s not like you spraying his ears out! We didn’t need that service!

I have gotten my dog groomed there before and go in from time to time to see what I can find for Lilly. Found a bargain with a buy one and get the second one 50% off on treats but Lilly didn't like them. The helpful cashier named Miriam reminded me of their return policy in case she didn't like them and took them back with no problem. Where does that happen anymore. Thanks Miriam. You showed what customer care is all about.

I wish I could give this store less than 1 star. Overpriced. Customer service representatives were very rude. The groomers are never available. Overall a poor experience. Will be ordering from Chuey from now on!

People were pretty nice, but I felt like they were being judgmental because I needed a bark collar that delivered a shock. They had no right to judge me. I understood that they might have a concern about someone who didn’t know better using a shocking dog collar, but I explained to them that I have had three dogs at a time for the last 30 years and I’ve adopted mini dogs from the shelter and dealt with many issues and this is the first time I have needed a bark collar for a dog. I explained to them that there are many people who could not have a dog that barks like this one and that he came from a shelter that kills in three days. All of the rescues that work with that shelter were full. I took one more dog because I can manage three dogs, and I try to do what I can. I didn’t say this, but I don’t just manage three dogs, but they’ve kind of won the Dog lottery when they end up at my house. I do everything for them and give them the best of everything, medical care, coats, food, we play and go for walks daily. It is a pretty good life at my house. But I have a new dog who barks unlike anything I’ve ever seen before when I have company. My dogs travel with me and I travel a lot so they cannot bark constantly like he does. I tried a bark collar that I got from Amazon. It didn’t work all the time, but it worked often enough and well enough that it changed my barking problem by 90% in 10 minutes. It was a freaking miracle and a life changer. I’m telling you this kind of collar is a huge blessing. It is so much better than people losing patience and Trying to teach a dog not to bark when they can just wear this collar and if they bark, they’re going to get an immediate reminder that has nothing to do with their owner. It’s fantastic. Now I tried that collar on my little Pomeranian when I turned on the vacuum cleaner just to see how it would work because she does bark at times about stuff nonstop. I had it set on beep and vibrate with no electric shock. It went off one time and that was the end of barking at vacuums. The end. Another miracle and all I needed was a vibration. However, this new dog that I got From rescue, he does not care about the vibration or the beep or anything. I say when he is barking at sounds outside the house or at a guest that’s come into the house. He needed the shock to be on. And it worked! It worked. It solved our problem! He is going to have a good home and we will be able to all love each other without frustration because of this wonderful wonderful color.
Now you guys don’t sell them with a shock. I understand that you think you’re being humane. But you are preventing a lot of people from discovering the solution that I have found. You’re not right to withhold this from the public because it’s life-changing. And a beep and a vibration is not enough for dogs that have a serious barking problem. Of all the dogs I’ve had in my life, I have never had a dog like this before, but now that I have had one, I understand The urgent deeded for a solution like this. Not only don’t you sell them which I wish you would reconsider, but your employees were pretty judgmental with me. I could tell that they felt sorry for the dog, and they were judging me, and even as I explained it, I got silence back, not understanding and giving me the benefit of the doubt. I believe you guys are wrong in your attitude about this and in your decision not to sell them. This collar helps good people teach dogs quickly and humanely. This is so much better than the frustration that comes from with trying to teach a dog when nothing else works.
I hope you will consider what I have said. Even if you don’t change your mind about selling them, you oughta talk to your employees about being open minded and not judging good pet owners just because they haven’t had that particular experience.

I took my dog. Bella 3 weeks a go for a bath nail trimming. They gave me a discount for 1st time. My Bella was smelling good, and her nails were trim and buff. They did a great job.
