I read mixed reviews about this Waffle House, but we decided to try it because it was close to our hotel. When we arrived at about 6 pm, the restaurant was not crowded. The staff was extremely friendly and even talked to us about the eclipse that had taken place earlier in the day. The food was tasty and came quickly, and the restaurant was clean. We had no complaints. ✅️?

Waffle House, an establishment known for its diner-style menu and traditionally reliable service, unfortunately, did not live up to expectations on this visit. The initial point of contention was the inability to place an order over the phone, a service many patrons have come to expect for convenience. Instead, the process required navigating to the website to both order and prepay for the meal, a modern approach that, in theory, should streamline the dining experience.However, the implementation of this digital ordering system fell short of its promise. Upon arrival at the restaurant, it was communicated that the order, despite being confirmed and paid for online, had not been registered by the establishment. Although proof of purchase was provided, this did not expedite the situation, leading to unnecessary delays as the order had to be cooked at that moment.The disappointment was further compounded by an oversight in the order's fulfillment. A key component, the gravy for the hash brown bowl, was omitted. This error was particularly frustrating as it was discovered only after departure from the restaurant, rendering rectification impossible without significant inconvenience.The overall experience can only be described as disappointing, notably diverging from the typically satisfactory service associated with Waffle House locations. The failure in the digital ordering process, lack of effective problem resolution, and an error in order preparation collectively marred the dining experience. While Waffle House generally is known for its quick service and comfort food, this particular visit did not meet those standards, resulting in a personal rating of 2 out of 10. It is hoped that this feedback will be seen as constructive, prompting a review and improvement in service protocols to better serve future patrons.

Had a online order thats very disgusting I have a video that shows squeezing butter out bread which look like someone had dip a wash cloth in water and rung it out ? still waiting on a refund from the 1st of February still no refund on a 52.00 order and I've contacted the manager at the store since that time and still no response Ms.wendy?
