Lately drive thru pharmacy has been very inconvenient. They will fill/refill @ the window right then but will ask you to come back for one that's been dropped off from earlier when they've asked you to come back. Bad business

I have had bad experiences in this retail space at the checkout counter but the pharmacy staff at this location is excellent. They go out of their way to be friendly, helpful, speedy and give you all the details you need on medications you are picking up. This great service experience is consistent across in person and phone interactions.

Worst Walgreens EVER. The level of disinterest and lack of helpfulness by the staff is appalling. The store is constantly out of EVERYTHING. The freezer compartments practically empty. Pharmacy staff is just as bad.

Been going here for the last 3 years. The staff here is always nice and professional. They are usually timely on RX refills.As of this post, Lane 2 is not operating but there isn’t a sign. A sign would be helpful not only as a courtesy to customers, but to alleviate staff from having to respond to confused folks, multiple times on a daily basis.

Was on hold for several hours, only to be hung up on by someone. Patients are unable to get their medicine because they are being *filled* at this location, but we cannot get ahold of anyone to back medications out or transfer medications. Patients are being left unable to get their medications, and this is in acceptable!

One of the worst Walgreens I have ever been to. There is always someone outside asking for money. The store is barely stocked with essential items. Don’t even get me started on the pharmacy. Line is always a million miles long. They never answer the phone, and don’t treat elderly people with the respect they deserve. I’m 25 and seeing what some of the people went through was not right. Waited 1 hour for a prescription they had 48 hours to fill. Moving to a local family ran pharmacy.

After being on hold for over an hour & visiting the pharmacy several times, I was finally connected to pharmacy & then hung up on, as it was exactly at 1:30, which is the time the leave for lunch break. I immediately called back after being hung up on to be informed they were closed until 2:30. This was a big inconvenience, considering the medication we have been trying to have refilled is still processing & they have been completely unhelpful to us, the medication in questioning is very important & it has been over 5 days. The call I was placing may have taken 5 mins at most but instead of continuing the call the staff hung up on me because their lunch time is more important than the customers who have been waiting on hold for a ridiculous amount of time. They clearly do not take pride in their positions & need to reevaluate their chosen staff members. I will be filing a complaint with the state board of pharmacies. This was just absolutely pathetic & selfish. They do not even deserve 1 star.

Pharmacy is hands down the worst in Little Rock. Slow, rude, and have the worst hours. Recently they changed their pharmacy hours to 10a-6p. How are people who work supposed to pickup their prescriptions? If you wait at the drive-thru, at 6pm on the dot they will close and refuse to help those who have been waiting. Never answer the phone. Send you notifications saying your prescriptions are ready when they really aren’t. The list goes on and on.

Never have I ever experienced blatant medical related LGBTQ+ discrimination until I tried to use this pharmacy. This pharmacy keeps canceling my prescription orders for anything related to my gender affirmation regimen and simply puts a note to call the pharmacy yet they NEVER answer the phone. No explanation is ever given as to why my orders are cancelled and if you go inside to speak to the staff, they will completely ignore you. I honestly don’t know how this location is still open with how many people I know that have had horrible experiences.

The pharmacy is a joke came @ 10:18 am and they said it wouldn’t be ready until 12pm I asked if I could come back after work I get off @ 4:00pm they said YES ! So I’ve been in line in drive through since 4:18 it’s now 5:33 FINALLY get to the window and 3 different people come up at different times and say “who are u picking up for” after I’ve already said it 3 different times and gave 3 different people the insurance number .. she just came back to the window and said “it’s not ready yet they’re finishing it up” ridiculousHORRIBLE PHARMACY !

It seems like the pharmacy reduces their official hours of operation at least every month or two, and usually with little or no notice. At this rate, they will have negative hours of operation within the next two years.What's even worse is that, even during their official operating hours, the pharmacy is closed for no apparent reason. A couple months ago, they were closed for four or five whole days in a row. That's not an exaggeration! When they had finally opened back up, they had "temporarily" reduced their hours "to get caught up" on the backlog of prescriptions, which I discovered because I arrived 11 minutes after the new closing time. Unsurprisingly, they never changed back from the restricted hours. In fact, they've cut down their hours at least twice since then.Edit, after reading other reviews:Yeah, this store is kind of bad, but don't be so quick to blame the low-level hourly employees. They don't get paid enough to give you 100%. And you're definitely not entitled to their 100% because you "keep them employed." You don't employ them; Walgreens does. It's clear that Walgreens needs to offer higher wages. That would alleviate the obvious staffing shortages that seem to curse every Walgreens store and would give them room to get rid of truly bad employees.Update (6/13/2022)They lost two of my prescriptions. I don't know how that happens, considering that my doctor sent them electronically. I had to have my doctor send the prescriptions again. They have had the new prescription since at least last Tuesday (6/7), possibly Monday (6/6). As of now, Monday (6/13) at 4:07 PM, the website says the prescription is still "in progress".Last Friday (6/10), I went into the store to check on it. They told me the pharmacy was drive-thru only, so I got into the drive-thru line at 5:30 PM. By the time the person in front of me arrived at the drive-thru window, it was 7:05 — 5 minutes after the pharmacy officially closes. They closed the window, leaving her, me, and all of the people behind me in line without our prescriptions. That's over an hour and a half in line with nothing to show for it.The pharmacy is closed on Saturday and Sunday. At the moment, I am in the drive-thru line (because the pharmacy is again drive-thru only) on Monday (6/13) at 4:15 PM. I have been in line since 3:45 and have moved forward one space.This pharmacy — the Walgreens pharmacy at 1601 Main St — has to be the worst pharmacy in the country.

Pharmacy is pretty below average/ I get it. Delays happen. But every. Single. Time...? Your average wait is going to be 40+ minutes. Update. After literally wait time of 1:01:32 wait time I was told there was no issues and that my order would be ready "this afternoon" - as vague as possible. This is after getting a text saying there was an issue with my prescription. What even. I stated I was on hold (firm but friendly) and that I didn't want to have to wait again to which the response was again "well. It'll be ready this afternoon. And you'll get a text." Unprofessional and inconsistent. I'll just drive across town next time. To hell with this location.
