We came in at around 5:30 and had sat out in the parking lot handling our issues with lines. Two elderly woman walked up to the door at 5:53 and tried walking in and the lady closed the door on the two women when it says on google and on the door they shouldn’t close till 7:00. She didn’t even talk to them before pulling the door shut as the lady had a grip of it pulling it open. Horrible customer service.

I will not recommend this store to anyone! I decided to buy a new phone in February 2024. I was set up with an account and was checking to see how much I would be charged for a specific phone. When realizing it would cost too much, I decided to buy a phone through my boyfriend’s account. Instead of removing the phone from my account, they accidentally activated it, but still let me purchase a phone through my boyfriend’s account. I was charged for a phone through my account that I did not receive. I have visited the store, called the manager, and spoken to AT&T customer support numerous of times and nothing was resolved. I have been told by the store manager that it was being taken care of, but still hasn’t. I have now received an email that my unpaid bill was sent to a debt collector, this will negatively effect my credit all because this was not taken care of in a timely manner. This has been going on for months now. I am furious and this is the most unprofessional establishment I've been to.

Didn't have to wait long. Amber was so polite and knowledgeable. When you're spending your money, you want respect and want someone that listens your needs. Not someone who will try to sell you anything just to make a commission.

Each time I visit this location there’s no urgency whatsoever to assist you. Even when they aren’t busy!!! Your greeted and ask what they can help you with. When you say pay phone bill they immediately say it will be a minute and ignore you as if it’s an imposition to take the payment!!!You may wait and extended period before you can pay your bill. No consideration for your time at all. Searcy AR East Race location refuse to accept payment without an appointment. Thats AT&T service?!?!?!

It's mind blowing how I can take my Sister's bill in to make a payment with her name on it. And they let me pay it every time no questions asked. Not my account but my Sister's. But when I try to pay my own bill, now I need my driver's license!!! Not trying to do anything but pay the bill. Help me understand this. I rather take my bill to Walmart and pay the fee than to put up with this mess. It just don't make any sense to me.

I was mislead and uninformed by employees.I upgraded my phone from an iPhone 12 pro max to a Galaxy s23 Ultra through the Newport at&t store. I love the phone. However, like any smartphone nowadays, the screen cracked very quickly (approximately 2 months after purchase) despite having the phone in a case with a screen protector. This would usually be no big deal with insurance or warranty, however I was not given the opportunity to purchase insurance through at&t that day that I purchased the phone, despite EVERY other phone on our service having insurance and I had insurance through apple care on my old phone. The employees said that I could upgrade early without having to wait on them to send me a phone through the mail if I got a new number. I didn't want to get a new phone number, so I declined. They then informed me I could still get a phone that day AND keep my number if we were to add a new line to our plan. I decided to agree since they were pushing and insisting that nothing would change and I could get a new phone that day. Unfortunately, this also meant that the owner of the new line (my uncle) now had insurance on his 8 year old iPhone and my brand new s23 Ultra had no insurance.Not only did they insure the new phone line attatched to the decade old iPhone instead of my new Galaxy, but they did not even offer me the insurance for my new phone or I would have gladly paid for it, seeing as I paid for Apple Care beforehand. Now I have a cracked screen with NO OPTION but to pay 400 dollars to get it repaired, because you cannot purchase insurance if you phone is damaged. Or I can live with a cracked screen. All because I was ill informed and mislead by at&t employees that day. I do not think they did this on purpose, but I do believe this speaks numbers about the store and the company. I'm not sure if I will switch carrier's or not, but I am posting this review to warn and inform others so they don't end up in my shoes. Always ask about everything twice because they definitely will not go out of their way to help you, whether that is due to them not caring about the customer or not being knowledgeable enough for the job.

The store at Newport doesn’t hand out free devices just because you come in and say you have a receipt number after allegedly going through customer service to order a phone and they told you to come there and the employees would give you a device that was not paid for out of that inventory, so Bobby Gipson you can keep your hateful and negative comments about that location to yourself!

This at&t store is the worst one in the state of Arkansas, the manager was very disrespectful and acted like the money was coming out of her pocket!! I will never use this store and will recommend that nobody uses it!! I know at&t is a big corporation but I Guarantee they do no customer service in Newport!! From jump she had a negative attitude and if you don't like working with public quit!!! Just found out it's a privately owned store and not corporate owned that's how they get away with down right being disrespectful!!
