Wow, my wife and I have visited lots of Mound Sites all across the United State. Parkin Archeological Park is the only group of mound builders that transcends prehistory into history. DeSoto in his exploration of the Mississippi met and documented their lives and culture, with thousands of questions left unanswered.

Nice place to visit concrete sidewalk for walking trials with plenty of benches to rest.the museum had interesting artifacts with the story that Hernando DeSoto came there in the 1500s.
