Village Creek State Park is a beautiful and peaceful place offering a variety of outdoor activities. Visitors enjoy the many trails for hiking, including trails full of history and even night hikes with biologists. The park is located on Crawley's Ridge, which adds interesting geological features to explore. The lakes are perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature, and the park's lakes and campgrounds are well maintained and gorgeous. The campsites are easy to set up tents in, especially in Loop A, and there are special areas for horse camping and multi-use trails for hikers, horses, and bikes. Visitors appreciate the clean and fully furnished cabins, which provide more space and comfort compared to hotels. The park also offers a playground and interpretive programs that visitors find engaging and educational. However, some mention that the staff could improve communication and attention to details, such as providing enough towels. During summer visits, bugs can be a nuisance, but in cooler seasons, the trails and outdoor experiences are much better. Overall, Village Creek State Park is loved for its natural beauty, well-maintained facilities, and wide range of activities, making it a favorite spot for camping, hiking, and relaxing in nature.
Wonderful little place to hike. Grew up visiting multiple times a year and now I go up every year when I visit my family. When I had a dog she loved picking the trails and exploring. Great place to burn some pent up energy then sit back and enjoy the peaceful lakes

Most enjoyable. The park rangers were kind and gave me guidance to the Trail of Tears.

The cabin is great and it was about the same price as a hotel with more space. The staff needs to work on details. We had a party of 5 so we asked for 5 towels and 5 washcloths and we got three. Need to work on your listening to the customer skills and communication but the facilities were great! Would stay there again!
