“Leonards isn’t just your average hardware store. It’s more like a home away from home. You’re always greeted with a friendly smile and a welcome to Leonard the minute you walk in the door. Today I walked in and Miss Jessica told me how beautiful I was and she doesn’t know that she just made my entire week. I had to go to electrical and needed an assistance and I had two very knowledgeable men Robert and Steve help me figure out exactly which wires I needed. As I was walking through the store, I ran into the GM and let’s just say there’s no one like Adam Ham. I ended up needing Mr. Roberts help again with the purchase of my new echo weedeater. And then I even got to speak with the warehouse man named Darwin when he showed me how to service and operate my new weedeater. Lastly, I went to the paint desk to check out and got to deal with the goofiest, but most amazing Paint Guy ever Jeff. If you’ve never been to Leonard’s Ace Hardware, I suggest checking it out. It’s definitely a 10 out of 10. It’s not your average hardware store. It’s got more than just tools and things for men. There’s lots of things for us women too.”

Especially the parts department. One of my benchtop lathes is one of their OG products and after decades of use, needed a new gear. No muss or fuss, parts diagrams, and one call and I was back in business.

“Great store to buy bulk farm items, like chicken, horse, cattle or pig feeds. They also usually have a good selection of wear items for tractors and farm implements.”

“The store is a very good store I liked so much that I bought there two days in a row. I am a retired army veteran of 21 years and on the first day I presented my military retired I’d card and received a military discount checking out. The second day I bought the same item and when checking out I asked if I got a military discount and was told we only get those once a quarter. I did create an account the first day and thought it would have been on my record. It’s only 5%. Not complaining but just wanted to mention it.”

“This Lowe’s could use some training and improvement. The staff is not super knowledgeable which is typical at Lowe’s but there’s always merchandise and equipment in inconvenient places. It just seems messy every time we go. Carts not out up in the parking lot, lumber left in doorways… at the bare minimum the staff should be able to tidy things up.”
