Lowe's Revamps Rewards Program with New Perks for Professionals
Lowe's is giving its loyalty program a makeover to better serve small and mid-sized professional contractors.
The home improvement retailer has changed its MVPs Pro Rewards & Partnership Program into the new MyLowe's Pro Rewards. The updated program aims to make life easier for professionals while offering more benefits from their first purchase.
"If you're a pro, we want you enrolled in MyLowe's Pro Rewards program because we're focused on saving pros more when they choose Lowe's first," said Quonta Vance, Lowe's executive VP of pro and home services. "This is one of the few rewards programs in the industry designed to reward pros from their first dollar spent – no special volume thresholds to earn and save at Lowe's."
The revamped program fixes issues with the previous version that many contractors found too complicated. Now professionals can earn points on eligible purchases, access member-only deals, and enjoy free standard shipping across the continental U.S.
Business-focused features include volume discounts on eligible quotes of $1,500 or more, a 20% paint discount after annual qualifying paint purchases reach $3,000, and practical tools like purchase authorization for crew members.
The program offers a three-tier system – Gold Pro, Platinum Pro, and Titanium Pro – with new benefits at each level. New members start at Gold Pro and move up as they shop more.

Professionals who use a MyLowe's Pro Rewards credit card save an additional 5% on eligible purchases and automatically upgrade to Platinum Pro status.
"We're building a loyalty ecosystem that's designed with our customers at the center – we want all of our members, no matter DIY or pro, to know that when they choose Lowe's first, they get more," said Jen Wilson, Lowe's senior VP and chief marketing officer.
This professional-focused update follows improvements for DIY customers too. In November, Lowe's launched its Digital Home Platform to improve the post-purchase experience for MyLowe's Rewards members with personalized product information and maintenance suggestions.
The focus on customer experience comes as competition heats up with rival Home Depot, which recently created a pro customer experience manager position to better serve professional contractors.
Based in Mooresville, North Carolina, Lowe's operates more than 1,700 stores and employs approximately 300,000 people.
