“Dollar General in Star City has a friendly, helpful staff who often go out of their way to help customers. For example, our community has a high number of patrons who are elderly and/or disabled. The staff are always eager to assist with the physical aspects of shopping, including helping customers to their vehicles and loading their purchases. I have been helped (on more than one occasion) when an employee has chased me out of the store because I had left or forgotten something. I can always count on the staff to be courteous, friendly, and welcoming. I can think of no specific incidents when there were unattended spills, accidents, or any other unpleasantness. The variety and availability of stock is very good for such a small market, and our town is fortunate to have such a convenient, affordable, and friendly business.”
