Came with a duffle bag of jeans and every item was denied. I was told all the shirts had odour (there was one shirt, never been worn, I smelled it incase it smelt bad from the store and literally had no smell). The way the jeans were so perfectly positioned exactly how I left them, I feel like nobody went through my items. Had a pair of Nike leggings rolled up tightly to fit, and they were the exact same position and roll as how I did it. They told me 35 minutes and was magically done in 5 minutes. Never coming back or recommending this place.

Girls at counter don't really seem to know quality from junk. Took a bag of name brand clothing , Lulu Lemon, Quicksilver, Under Amor, barely looked at it said no thanks. Will be donating to the local thrift store from now on, Would give 0 stars if i could.

What they decide to accept or reject seems completely arbitrary, and the amount they offer you for your items could be classified as a weird form of abuse.

Over the years I've found Plato's to be pricier for things than I can often find in the thrift store as a lower income family. Now in a better position, I've started to bring my teen boys to shop as they want specific name brand clothing and it's easier to find here for a fraction of the cost. For example we purchase a pair of special edition Nike air shoes in great condition for $30 online we found the same second hand for $60-100. True there are some clothes that I've found on the shelf in questionable condition but part of the fun is searching to find what you would like.
I brought in some men's clothes/shoes the last time we went in and they offered us $45 for items we would have donated. Many were in new or excellent condition, some name brands some not. I think bringing your items to sell do not plan on making money off your items. I see it as normally this would go to a thrift store and now I have some extra credit to buy things my kids like at the store. Go online and sell your things if you are going to complain about how much they pay you for your items. I almost guarantee it's more time and headache than you are willing to put in. Considering they pay their employees and overhead cost to run the store not to mention sell items for a fraction of the original cost. Overall my experiences recently have been positive and we will continue to check out the shelves for more deals.

After five years of visiting this place, I can confidently say that my experiences have seldom been positive. Recently, however, I encountered an incident that compelled me to share my thoughts.
Firstly, when it comes to donating items, they consistently refuse to accept high-quality designer clothing that I would rather not donate than sell (I could just use some extra cash).
As I peruse the shelves, I often find garments that are torn, stained, or damaged in some way. It’s frustrating to see such poor-quality items on display while my nearly new designer pieces that I try to sell are turned away.
Once I did a test and gave them my old purse that had a very obviously broken strap and then a newer designer bag. THEY TOOK THE BROKE ASS PURSE.
And one more thing... It's true that some of the girls there have attitudes and/or can come across as snooty.
My boyfriend and I tried to sell our clothes recently. He had Levi jean jackets and overalls. I had plus size women's clothes (which they desperately need).
The girl gave us back our clothes and they didn't even look like they were searched (the clothes in the bin didn't looked touched as they were folded the same way we gave them). On top of that, she claimed they were wet. THEY WERE NOT WET. It was such an odd ass excuse and we were both baffled, but it's not worth arguing with them about it.
They're just a bunch of teen/young adult girls working minimum wage at a thrift store... So, it's really not worth trying to convince them. I am not aware of their selection process. Something's not right if they turn away good clothes and sell garbage on the racks.
If you only want to shop here, you may get lucky and find a nice piece or two. Otherwise, selling items here is not worth it. Sell your stuff on marketplace or go to Labels across the border.
Edit: In light of the owner's reply, I would like to clarify that I have never expressed my frustrations towards the staff. My review indicates that it is not worthwhile to do so, as they are merely young individuals fulfilling their responsibilities... However, the quality of clothing available reflects inadequate procedures in their selection process. The reviews of other customers feedback will reveal that numerous individuals have encountered comparable experiences.

I brought in a bag of items in and they told me they weren't taking long sleeve shirts or jeans. But they took my other items one of them was brandy Melville and a lululemon sports bra and a nike one and I also has an aritzia sweater and they only gave me 14 dollars for it which I think is super ridiculous for how much I paid for those items regularly for them but when I was waiting I found two shirts with stains on them and half the stuff the clothes are out dated and are not even in style anymore. If I am bringing nice stuff in and am not getting any money out of it than why is there stuff with stains.

What a waste of time!
We were told that their style is "teenaged girl", so they refused the drop offs of our group and the two groups before us. Since that's their style, they clearly won't have anything that would interest folks outside of that demographic.

I often find a few great pieces when I shop here, however it can be frustrating when I see the same white t shirt priced $10 higher than another one simply because it’s Aritzia or some brand like that. It makes sense though I guess. This store loses points on their customer service however. I have never been to a retail store with worse customer service than here, and almost every time I go, I feel like an incredible inconvenience because of it. A lot of the time I don’t even get a smile. Aside from that I do enjoy that this store has a wide selection of the brands I shop! And the men’s selection is also starting to improve a lot better too.

Great selection and variety of sizes, clean fitting rooms and reasonable prices.
I do wish they were more mindful of the time it takes to checkout and opened more registers when needed

I love this place. A thrift store I can always find stuff that’s my style and it’s always clean and properly kept, unlike a lot of thrift stores.

Hidden gem! Great selection and great prices! Love that they separate some brands, like lululemon, for ease of selection! I will be back!
