Popped into the market for a pizza. Delicious, friendly staff, and greeted by two cute dogs!

Can’t say anything about the accommodations however the little shop that serves food has the BEST pie I have ever tasted, fresh or frozen, doesn’t matter. Get it now!

Not a great stay. Lack of privacy in the cabin. One of the windows has no curtains, and has even no curtain rod installed. The curtains at the door are also very easy to see through.Would not recommend.

Always love visiting their store. Price are on the expensive side but it's expected.

I visited the store with my kids. I felt like being a nuisance to the owner. We all have bad days, but she sure didn't try to hide it.The strawberry and rhubarb pie was undercooked. Haven't tried the lasagna and the steak yet. Must be superb, because I paid $76 for all (small pie, big lasagna and 1 big steak)

We had an amazing stay at the cottage at Alderwood this weekend. The farm grounds are beautiful and we loved visiting with the friendly resident donkey Tony. The breakfast basket our host gave us was full of delicious farm fresh eggs, bacon and fresh baked pastries from the farm store. Our host was welcoming and accommodating. We will definitely be back to stay here again! Thanks for the great stay.

Top notch customer services! We only went for lunch and had bacon and onion pizza, tomato soup, and creamy mushroom soup. The food was delicious! There is no sitting down area and the super friendly lady suggested to go to Riley’s Cider for the picnic table. It turned out to be a relaxing afternoon with some cider tasting and firewood burning by the side.I took out one star because the menu is very limited right now and I’ll come back for more food. They also offer stay-on-the-farm accommodation and it could be a nice getaway!

Beautiful countryside setting with a rustic charm. Delicious continental breakfast. Jules the host was very friendly and accommodating. Loved the donkey and goose! A little on the expensive side, but we did love our stay. Bought the spinach, artichoke & asiago dip from the store there and it was amazing!

Cozy cabin was a great stay. Loved that Tony the donkey and zoey roamed free around the farm. Everything we ate at from the store was excellent. Only things that could be improved would be sharper knives and wifi would have been nice since things close relatively early on the island.

Loved our stay here with the owners and their extended animal family! Highly recommended if you’re looking for an easy going stay while on Bowen Island. Super central, with a 8 minute drive to the centre in Snug Bay, and less then 5 mins away from some really nice and some hidden bays and beaches. They also make amazing pizzas at their farm! Special shout-out to their lovely dogs, especially Jackson who’s getting up there in age, but still so full of spirit and affection! We’ll definitely visit again.

The farm is quaint, Jules is friendly and helpful, but we felt the accommodation needed a bit of TLC. We booked the Garden Suite, but were 'upgraded' to the suite above it in the same building (not the Cozy Cottage), that is not advertised on their web site. We found the king size mattress to be sagging, but if you lay in the middle, it was OK, as obviously people sleep on one side or the other. I'm only 180lbs and sank right in - it felt like sleeping in a recliner. Next is the lack of a bathroom door or curtain or any privacy. Sitting on the toilet, you have a clear view of everything in the room. Last, they need to trim the lilac tree that blocks the outside stairs leading to the suite. You have to bend over, and curve your body around the railing to get up/down the stairs.

We stopped at the little shop to buy a fresh pie. They had just finished making them and they weren't baked yet so we took it home to bake. They gave excellent baking instructions and the pie was amazing! Not too sweet, and perfect flakey crust. Will definitely get another pie from them and their pizzas look good too!
