“I can’t say enough about this liquor store, I can often have weird taste in beer or unusually cravings and I am never disappointed with their selection! But! The 5* review is secured with the all inclusive pricing! You pay what it says on the tag! Love it!”

“Great selection of hard to find items paired with fantastic customer service. Twice in the past year I’ve called over to see if they have an item as the website says they have a small amount in stock. Twice they have said yes. Twice I’ve driven over and discovered they have pre-emptively put it behind the counter, just to make sure it doesn’t sell out. Truly thoughtful!”

“Even though the size of the store is small, they have a really good variety of product -- and good quality product, too! You can get a top quality wine for a really good price, and they have a really nice selection of craft beers in singles. The employees there know their stuff; I asked a few questions and was met with enthusiastic, informed responses. Even though it was busy, they still had time to attend to each customer, make sure they were following the rules, and check everyone's ID's. Great job!”

“Friendly dude at the checkout on a Friday evening was eager to give advice about the products they carry! Appreciated the good vibes. Prices better than other liquor stores obviously as it’s a government store.”

“Little general store & cafe that is worth a stop if you are heading from Vancouver up to Squamish/Whistler.I already was planning on driving up north to Squamish so I knew I wanted to stop here since I remember getting a really good scone here a few years back. I made sure to download the offline Google map before heading out because I know service is spotty in the area.As the name states the place is a combined general (convenience) story and cafe. It has a parking lot right at front so parking is easy. I went with a caramel macchiato & the only scone that was left which was cheese scone. I'm pretty sure the place gets limited fresh backed goods and all the good ones sell out earlier in the morning. It was afternoon so pickings were limited & sadly my scone was a little stale. Luckily the caramel macchiato made up for it. It was a really good balance of balanced sweetness from the caramel & what tasted like med/dark toast coffee. Nice, hot & flavorful on a cold day. It was even more enjoyable because the counter top/bar seating faces the water outside.Aside from the usual cafe, they also sell local beer which you can even enjoy outside if you so please. The general store part contains many of usual goods you'd usually find. I don't have a photo but they had this spicy ketchup chip that was very good.Oh & if you do make this stop (& you should) be sure to check out the nearby "waterfall." It's to your right as you exit.the store, just up the little hill. It's worth the short walk.I plan to go to Whistler the next time I'm in Vancouver and I also plan to stop here once again.”
