“Great auto shop, got our radiator repaired, a tire rod changed plus a last minute oil change done apon pick up and brought it back to get looked over cause workers at Big O Tire claimed there was a seized bolt when we tried two times getting a wheel alignment done at Big O Tire”

“10/10 would cross water again
My wife and I live in Chilliwack, and we bought our vehicle from a dealership in Victoria. That normally sounds like a logistical puzzle involving ferries, snacks, and careful planning. Somehow, this turned out to be the easiest car-buying experience we have ever had.
We just bought a new-to-us 2016 Acura RDX, and from the moment we stepped off the ferry, Eddie from Campus Acura was there like some sort of automotive concierge, or possibly a long-lost friend we just had not met yet. He picked us up at the terminal, created zero stress, applied zero pressure, and delivered 100 percent good vibes. If buying a car was always like this, people would do it recreationally.
Eddie was knowledgeable, patient, genuinely funny, and made sure both of us felt comfortable and informed the entire time. He somehow managed to make the whole process feel easy, which I am pretty sure goes against several dealership stereotypes. No rush, no awkward sales energy, just outstanding service from start to finish.
Then there is Doug in finance. We do not know how he did it, but he made paperwork fun. We went in braced for soul-crushing forms and left impressed and smiling, which feels like a rare achievement in itself. If Doug ever starts a podcast about contracts, we would absolutely subscribe.
We drove away thrilled, confident, and genuinely happy with our purchase, and mildly suspicious that car buying is not usually allowed to be this pleasant.

“I have been sadly remiss in the time it's taken to write this review. On the other hand, it's given the team at Progressive more opportunity to prove worthy of a five star (only five???) rating. My 2010 Tiguan is still ticking like a little bomb thanks to the care and expertise of the techs at this outfit. The office staff are great, particularly Shayla, who never hesitates to say "bring it in" when I send out an SOS.
From the day I booked my VW's first service in (I think) 2019, the team has risen above and beyond expectation in all the best ways, right down to showing supremely admirable tolerance for an owner who adores her vehicle and tends to hover anxiously in the wings while it's in the shop. We thought it was a unique circumstance that Glen Lake Automotive advised us that we didn’t need an immediate fix on a vehicle when we brought it in and they also waived their shop fees which in bananas to me in this day and age. I have come to learn through word of mouth, that this is how they operate their business. They’re exceptional at what they do and a true asset to the community.

“A new loyal customer!! Twice I have gone to Jiffy Lube. Both times two different gentlemen said that even though that dates were right on my reminder sticker , it was not time as I had not driven it around enough. All looked good and all I needed was a top up. Each time I left paying for just that. They could have charged me the full deal twice, I would be none the wiser. That honesty has me as a loyal customer! Highly recommend!!”

“What amazing service! Gary was fabulous! He managed to fit us in for a vehicle inspection with little notice. The vehicle inspection results were emailed to us so that we now have an electronic record for our files. The inspection report was extremely thorough. Ten out of ten guys! On one final note, the other guy in the office also told us that we should do an online search to see if there are any liens, accidents, etc. reported on the car. Of course, we folled his advice, but how decent of him.”
