My window got smashed in over the holidays and despite being closed over the holidays, they were willing to take my car in so they can evaluate it and get working on it once they reopened. I called around a ton of dealerships over the holidays and Mint Auto Body was the only one that identified that fixing the glass and paint was a simple and quick job that can be prioritized and done quickly rather than wait behind all of the cars that needed panels re-done and specific parts ordered.I'm very thankful for their hard work and excellent service, as it meant that I didn't have to drive around with a plastic sheet over my driver's door for weeks and weeks. “My wife and I just traded our tacoma for a new TRD PRO 4Runner . We happened to be looking at a TRD Offroad when I casually mentioned that this my was my second choice as we had really hoped to find a new TRD PRO with no luck. After a short silence he mentioned he had a new one with 90 KMs sitting in his brothers garage and how much he liked them, it is obvious Fred and his family are passionate enthusiasts of Toyota Landcruisers and 4Runners. I asked if he would be interested in selling it and again there was the thoughtful silence as he contemplated parting ways.We were extremely happy the next day when Peter drove it to their business and it was everything Fred had said it was. Fred and his brother Peter are two genuine old school individuals. This was the least pressured and strangely but true the most relaxed vehicle purchase we have ever made. I will highly recommend them to our family members and friends. “This was an ICBC claim as my vehicle was dinged at the rear quarter of my Toyota RAV4 resulting in fender flare damage and more serious damage to the rear suspension and wheel assembly. I searched some shops online trying to avoid the big names since most were a month or two backed up already as it was mid winter. I eventually found Drift Autobody mostly based on a few old reviews plus the fact that they were only backed up a couple weeks at the time and relatively close to my location in Burnaby. After talking to Wing (the owner) I was immediately impressed with his personable demeanor and obvious knowledge of the business. Auto mechanics is not new to me having been trained in my youth, so I could tell right away that he knew what he was talking about. I chose to have the work done here and it only took a day for Wing to assess the damage, give me the details on what needed to be done, and an estimation of how long it would take to complete the job. They supplied me with a nice late model courtesy car for the week.Between dealing with Wing and Mae (the coordinator), and the rest of the crew, I have to say I was more than happy with the overall experience. In the end, the quality workmanship and the professional manner in which they dealt with me, plus keeping me updated along the way was perfect. They were the classic family run mom and pop shop that everyone hopes to encounter, but you find so few of these days. I felt lucky to find the right place to handle my repairs and if I ever have the need for collision repairs again I won’t hesitate to give Drift my repeat business.”
