I gave this branch 1 star one month ago. My opinion has improved and I'm moving up to 3 star. They are one of busiest branches in all of BC. Telephone banking is actually the worst...for wait times.

The worst experience ever… there was fraud on my debit card yesterday. I had to call their fraud department and cancel the card. First of all they were not able to reverse it… secondly I was told that I need to go to a branch to get a new debit card. So, I did go there and explained the whole situation and I got a new debit card (again no one in the branch was able to help with the money that I lost). I called the fraud department again to follow up with this fraud transaction and this time they told me you should’ve changed your bank account!!!! Why didn’t anyone tell me this at the beginning??! Now I have to take time off work, go back again, wait in the line up for 50 minutes to get another card! This is so inconvenient! They are supposed to let me know at the beginning….. because of this fraud I had to also cancel my Mastercard and credit card… so now I have to cards available… I can’t use my online banking….I am so frustrated with CIBC… how can I trust them and still bank with them when they can’t provide security and all they can say is sorry ….I don’t recommend banking with them. Keeping your money at home is way safer than putting in CIBC…

2 pm only 2 workers service the customers, line up 15-17 customers, waiting time 35-40 minutes. They really need to change branch management.

Probably the worst CIBC branch to exist.Went in to verify my identity per instructions from CIBC Visa, and was told by the tellers here that I needed to book an appointment to do this, and that their earliest availability is 1 week from now. Not understanding why this requires an appointment.Tried my luck at another CIBC branch and they were able to do it, no questions asked!Not sure why this location made it so complicated.

I wish I could give zero. The manager of client service, Jennifer Li, is very unfriendly and doesn't have customer service sense at all. Couldn’t be more impatient with client's.

This branch cannot get anything done. Trying to apply for a Student Credit Card and constantly getting referred to the credit card line and then back to the branch, over and over again. Just called the credit card line to check on my application status and they mentioned to go back to the branch to show proof of employment or enrolment and to submit my SIN number all of which I have already done a full month ago at this branch. I was hooked at how well the student credit card stacked up compared to other banks. Unfortunately, the service isn’t there and I will be looking at other options at this time.

Got charged fee for no-reason. You are telling me that even if I transfer $2000 to my credit card account. You still gonna charge me overlimit fee when i have $1000 credit limit? People there are rude. They don't even care.

Worst branch ever. Took forever to get a helped. And then waited another 30 minutes for the manger to come. After 1 minute of talking the manager asked me to seat outside for another 30 minutes. Never come here again.

I went to CIBC at Metrotown yesterday.I wanted some information regarding mortgages and redeeming my GIC's.I waited at the front, where this women was talking to another customer in their language, I waited for quite some time, then I interrupted and ask this women, that I have a quick question, she rudely told me." I am with this customer can't you see" I left and waited in line to ask the teller, who gave me a number to call , as all the agents were busy.I left, and on my way I saw this women talking to another customer in her language, both the customers were young and I don't they needed an interpreter.This woman who suppose to help was too busy talking with her country persons and not a care in the world, too busy yapping away.I asked the security man what her name? he refuse to give me her name.I have been a CIBC customer for the past 26 years, this was a bad experience and as a customer, I don't appreciate CIBC information turned into a social chatting forum.

Made a booking online to create a new bank account. Made to wait 30 minutes and then was told they can't make new accounts and only our own personal financial advisor can which makes 0 sense.
