“So happy to stumbled upon this place! Walked in and eyed 3 clothing items right away! Bora was the employee that helped me and she was so sweet and helpful! I ended up finding I think 8 items, definitely worth it. Will come back next time for a longboard!”
“I went to the food bank today at 6125 Nelson. I just want to say how welcome i felt for my first time. i have mobility issues and the staff and volunteers were very helpful.”
“PADS ,Pacific Assistance Dogs is a nonprofit volunteer driven that helps disabled people to have better lives by training and raising service animals .I was able to submit an application for a service animal in around 24 months I received a service animal that helps me walk , pick up items for me ,helps me open and close doors, take off socks and my jacket. My service dog has made my life a million times better.”
“We came for the ‘beautifully broken’ exhibit as the last stop on our artsy tour of the day.
It didn’t disappoint. The building itself feels calm and light and seems to be a really well utilized community space. There was a badminton match happening and a Japanese bookstore and tea room upstairs and signs for a Pokémon tournament.
The exhibit was excruciatingly beautiful and displayed in a way that allowed you to view most pieces from several angles. There were personal, historical, and some political thoughts woven like the gold within the pieces.
I am very grateful that I was lucky enough to get to see it.”
