It's ok. Not a ton of stuff and often quite disorganized for hardware, but the staff are nice and it's in a convenient location.

I visited this location last night hoping to find specific screws and a drywall bit, but my experience was disappointing. When I couldn’t locate the items, I approached two employees who were chatting. I politely asked the younger worker for assistance, but she walked past me without even acknowledging my request. I then turned to the older lady, who responded brusquely with “one moment.” Although she did eventually try to assist me, her initial rude response left me feeling unwelcome. It wasn’t even busy; the store was almost empty, with only three other customers and five employees present.
The lack of customer service and inattentive attitude were quite surprising, especially because one of the reasons I choose to shop in physical stores is to receive help and advice I wouldn’t get from an online store. I also prefer to support local businesses to keep people employed. In this case, however, I felt like I was more of an inconvenience than a valued customer.
I do want to acknowledge Angelina at the till, who was incredibly polite and helpful. She made an effort to assist me, even calling another younger employee from the back to help. Her approach is exactly what I expect from a hardware store, and she should be commended. Unfortunately, the previous experience made it clear to me that there are issues with staff training. I don't blame the individual employees but believe the management needs to improve how they train their staff to ensure consistent, high-quality service.

Over the last two years, my wife and I have renovated our condo. We have spoken to Kim at Edmonds many times, and she has always been professional, highly knowledgeable, and patient with us, as we’re novices, making the experience enjoyable. All her advice has been first-rate. We always seek Kim when we visit the store and can’t thank her enough.

Honest review - change your store manager
Two incidents that left me with a bad taste about Rona. I usually shop in another competitor store but decided to try Rona.
One - I bought a Broan fan almost 3 weeks ago. It was $159 at competitor store and was $179 at Rona. Rona price adjusted to $159. Then, for thanksgiving sales, the same fan was now $135 at Rona. Manager said no to another price adjustment, although I said I could have returned it as it is within the 90 days and buy it back at the lower price. Manager was sarcastic to tell me to “try bringing the fan in”. WHY NOT? Surely, I brought in my fan, returned it and bought it again.
Two - another lady was telling the store manager that there was no one in store to help her with her questions. Same manager, just said, “thanks for telling me, but bye” and walked off. Did he hear himself? That was really unprofessional and uncalled for.
Don’t be a store manager when you don’t even have basic manners, not even asking much.
