“Had to get a flex pipe done on a V6 sedan. It ended up being a little more work than initially expected but even with 6 hours of shop time and both flex pipes done it was a reasonable price and given what they had to go through to remove manifolds etc. It was more than fair. I appreciate the shop attitude and how they called me to update often. Only put five stars down because I couldn't put six, I'll. Be. Back.”

“Awesome service. I had an issue with my 2003 dodge Ram where the coolant kept disappearing out of the reservoir with no leak to be found. Called around and everyone was to busy to look at it but when I called this place he was able to fit me in that day to take a look at it. I would have never guessed but it turned out just to be a cracked radiator cap. I changed it and problem was solved. Very thankful to have found this place and highly recommend it.”

“Excellent mechanic shop. The manager/head mechanic is fantastic, and super upfront and honest. They've been on it with all the maintenance on my vehicle, and each experience has been great. I drive an older car, and had some intense work done on the engine. When the indicator came back on after, they checked up on it and were super great about making sure things were going smoothly. Super awesome shop, great staff, super honest work which can be hard to find with mechanics. Would 10/10 recommend”

“Great Place to Take Your Vehicle if You're a Woman!!I brought my Jimmy in to see these guys after another shop tried to rip me off to the tune of 2.5 times what I expected the estimate to be, and 2.5 times what it SHOULD have been!Not only was the estimate from M.A. Automotive exactly what I expected price-wise, both by the work needed and the cost of that work, but the actual work was done perfectly and for not a penny over the estimate.I'm a woman who understands and knows how to diagnose and fix computers and various other machines… including trucks and cars. That, fortunately, has kept me from getting ripped off time and again by unscrupulous mechanics who don't believe women are capable of this particular skill, but hey… if men can do it, women can do it, too.Not only did this shop NOT try to add any extras to or fudge the estimate, they treated me with respect and as if they actually believed that I understood my truck. “Was towed to this shop after breaking down in Hope on my way to Burns Lake as they were the only shop who was willing to help with my broken fuel pump. I was and am still immensely greatful for them to be able to help get me back on the road again. As soon as I got towed the vehicle towed to their shop the crew got to work I did have to pay a "emergency work" tax though which was my only sadness with this shop. For a fuel filter, that was supplied by myself, and the soldering of 2 wires on the fuel pump to be more secure, was $480 in just labour. I was luckily able to pay for it as I needed to but that could seriously mess with people financially. Again, I'm extremely greatful for the help but I feel like it should be a warning to some people”

“I’d been looking for a starter for an older seadoo since before Covid, I’d tried multiple dealerships, auto-parts stores, small engine mechanics, and even wreckers. I’d call places throughout the Fraser valley, I finally took the old one to Gus’s to see if it could be rebuilt, I don’t remember the name of the fellow behind the counter but he said even if he could rebuild it it likely wouldn’t be worth it, and in a matter of minutes had found me a replacement from a reliable supplier. (The only ones I had found were on ebay and from china and seemed quite dodgy) very knowledge and willing to spend the time to help me even though he didn’t make a dime from me.”
