“Needed a locking gas cap for my Vanagon and new side mirrors. Googled for where I could find these items and came across Dr Bjorn. Ordered online, got everything quickly. Very happy with the service. Today I found that I needed a new water pump checked online, they had what I was looking for. Went to their shop and picked it up in person. Lovely people, knowledgeable and helpful.

“Our apologies this is getting posted just now. We had the very best experience from the owner. Our car was making the worst noise, and we were going up island. We pulled into H & M who were absolutely booked solid. BUT, the owner took our keys, took our vehicle for a drive, and removed the stones in the steering column. Problem solved. We were going to Calgary in couple of days, live in Victoria. We can't tell you how grateful we were/are. Kind, and the best service ever. He did not charge us. Many many thanks. “This is one place where the overall rating truly reflects the service and professionalism of the shop.
My wife’s car died on the Malahat and I desperately searched for a shop within towing distance. I came upon this place via google search and called right away. Rob (owner) answered and I explained the dilemma. We had the car towed there and she got a ride back to Nanaimo. Within an hour we had a detailed update with more info in the following morning.
Spared us all the unnecessary fixes and price bloated add-ons you would usually find at a shop or worse a dealership.
They called around, found the best prices, questioned dealership recommendations and got all the answers we needed. Once the go ahead was given the car was ready after a day and extensive service.
I know this is wordy, but I really can’t recommend this shop enough. We live in Nanaimo and will make the journey to mill bay for any future fixes.”
